holy **** Paris is the city of the van van.

must have seen at least a dozen van vans or clones. only ever seen one in the UK:p

I am thinking a van van converted to electric could be fun for commuting

Answer me this: how the **** do people who ride in the rain dry out their gear overnight?

My jacket is dry inside but the outside is soaking which means it is beginning to smell.

On the plus side, I found out work have a drying room. Only taken me 7 months to find it :o

I use richa rain warrior over's. Just shake off the water, easy! My textiles are like a sponge for anything other than a brief light shower!

Treat your textiles to nikwax, mine were getting sodden from rain and soaking through and gave me a wet crotch.

Treated them to nikwax and on the ride home tonight they're were barely wet, almost dry. Plenty of rain tonight too.

My rain warriors give me a wet crotch, going to give them a nikwax treatment too. It seems all waterproofs apart from goretex soak up water eventually.

Even standard goretex suffers from the outer getting sodden. The only stuff that won't is fancy and expensive laminated goretex.

Ah yes, there's nothing better than putting on a soggy jacket in the morning. I dunno, I find the faster I go the quicker it dries. Try that. :P :)

Do you use the nikwax wash in stuff that you put in the washing machine?

Still be careful as it won't protect you from the police, it just stops randoms on the internet from pointing it out if you upload your videos to YouTube.

It'll save a lot of time cutting out the more spirited riding, don't upload hardly any to YouTube, only to show you lot.

I've gone for that Nikwax wash-in stuff. For £12 its worth a punt at least.

Silly question, for those that wash their textiles are you tumble drying them after a wash? I'm back to square one if I wash my jacket and trousers at home :D
