Walked out to a flat rear this morning luckily I've got the day off so it just delayed my McDonald's breakfast.

Got it up on the stand nothing stuck in it no big hole so bit lost on what caused it but pumped it full of slime and it seems to be holding air.

Got stuck at a set of lights at a busy DC junction on my way home because they weren't picking up the bike, that was an interesting red to run after sitting there for about 5 rounds. Let's hope the day gets better from here!

Tinted visor arrived today and took all of 5 minutes to fit :) Picture in the recent purchases thread.

Despite saying the SV is staying for a while and am happy to keep it for a while, I keep having a little each to test ride a litre bike. Such as, an S1000RR or a Cbr1000RR. Idk, just to see  Probably not a good idea though, is it :(

EDIT: Or maybe a used SV1000?

Edit2: For ***** sake will somebody ride a bike while they're reviewing it, rather than just talk about it while its sat there :(

This happened to me as I was leaving a busy shopping centre in Manchster recently. The barrier was down as me and a mate pulled up to it and we'd just passed a car who was waiting to come out of the same exit but was waiting to see if the barrier would open or not(they're normally up permanently but it was late). Anyway, barrier didn't open, so i turned round and coaxed the car to come the same way and they set off the barrier :D :D

i find what helps a lot with lethers is a base layer especially on trousers so they don't stick/rub as much. Obviously if they don't fit - they don't fit :/

edit: replying to old post - oh well - i won't remove it so people know I am stupid.
I've quickly learnt that you need some sort of baselayer under leathers otherwise your boxershorts end up as a thong... :D It's not a good look shoving your hand down there to try and prise them out of your crack...:p
When you heading to the alps paul? End of next week or the last week of August?

1 week to go!!! :D:D I leave Saturday morning, most the others are leaving around the same time, a day before or after.

Considering nipping down to street bike and picking up some heavy fork oil after talking to Mark at SSR yesterday but can I really be bothered with stripping my forks off today especially when I always get distracted and end up doing a million other bits that I decide need doing as well.

Nice, plenty of pictures and video if you can be bothered :p

Where's the best place for wd40 chain cleaner? Think it was you who posted somewhere online selling 2 for £8?

Oh trust me there'll be plenty :D Just had my xiaomi yi frame case delivered from china today, damn good for £10.

It was M&P with the cheap WD40 stuff, they're not doing the same deal now though. Although... I don't use it anymore, I was going through it far too quickly. I use paraffin now, costs pennies vs the chain cleaner - put some in a spray bottle and with a chain brush it's just as good.

Yesterday saw 3 2017 Fireblades (Black with red accents didn't look too bad tbh), a GSXR 2017 in Blue. I only went to the local post office to send a few things off, looks like people are actually buying the CBR's even though they're behind their competition. :p

I don't find anything as good as WD40 chain cleaner, the stuff eats through anything on the chain and it's effortless.

I have paraffin at home and some spray bottles, ill give it another go though I wasn't happy the first time I used paraffin.

Just got back from doing bikesafe today.

Very enjoyable day, though even by the end it still felt a bit odd doing 90 with a police bike hanging off your rear wheel.
That's on my list of things to do. How much experience did you have before you did it? I've heard great things from almost everyone that's done it and the training school I passed with were ex-coppers who were really good fun.

Didn't fancy rocking up with 1 month under my belt and feeling like a total n00b.

There is usually a mix of riders there from new to crazy dudes who are trying to slow themselves down. When I did it they paired us up based on experience and everyone got a turn at the front so don't hold off signing up just get booked on as they don't run them too often.
