I forgot that son 1 had footie practice and I did end up taking the dog for a walk and doing pokemon with son 2. I've got parts arriving to do the clutch on my bike today so that looks like this afternoons activity sorted.

I've had a new chain and sprocket set sat in my drawer since the start of the year...Might actually get around to fitting it this weekend just in time to lay the bike up for the winter

I've ordered fuel hose, gaskets, fuel tap, spark plug, vacuum caps, etc for the little Benelli, had it running rather well a few weeks ago but it was clearly having trouble with a vacuum leak somewhere so this weekend it's getting loads of new bits. Once it's running reliably it'll get cleaned up properly and loads of little bits done like tidying up the wiring loom. I might even get it ULEZ certified, we'll see.

You simply can't beat a two stroke, fantastic fun.

What bike related YouTube channels is everyone watching these days? Any recommendations?

Some of TMF's stuff is good but then there's some videos and he's just a bit "what are you banging on about you nipple!?" Like when his disaster of a custom Enfield dropped all it's shock oil and he's like I dunno if it came from the engine better ride it to check :o

He also seems a bit up his own arse sometimes tbh. I watch maybe two of his vids a month and that fills my quota.

Anyway, got a test ride booked on an ADV350 tomorrow morning, but the soonest they can deliver the silver I want is next year :/

They can do the red for October so might have to go with that.

Also, someone else at work upgraded their Nmax 125 to a Yamaha TechMax 300. Lovely looking thing, basically a sofa on wheels. I can't be shown up like that though, I'll need to get the Honda sharpish

Freddie Dobbs (and his other channel Freddie Dobbs on Tuesday's).
C90 Adventures when he eventually posts every few months.
Itchy Boots.
Classic Rides (not so much now I don't have a T120).
Motorcycle Adventures
Girl on a Bike
andythehaymaker (OK, admittedly I only just added that one 50 seconds ago)

The ones I'm subbed to, are;
- Fortnine - in terms of video quality, cinematics and no bs straight to the point videos, its hard to beat this channel, even some of my mates who have no interest in bikes watch his videos lol
- Revzilla - Zack's and Ari's videos mainly, the guy with the beard (looks like Hagrid) who has the technicial segment is alright too.
- 44 Teeth - Rarely though, too much talking in most videos.
- Superbikeracer
- Enduro KeX
- Querly
- Tarzan Motovlog
- Stunt Freaks Team

Freddie Dobbs is a great channel. I used to watch TMF but he just annoys me now!
Anyway, took this out for a test ride earlier, certainly makes a change from the big stuff I used to ride a few years ago (GPz900's, HD's etc etc...)
Great fun just whizzing round the lanes in the sunshine. Slow as **** but I think that's just what I'm looking for now.
RE 350. Sounds brilliant, like something from the 50's!

44Teeth, Chopsie, TMF and Fortnine are the ones I watch - always cracking content from all of them imo, I used to watch some of the biker crash compilations (@Fireskull often pops up in them) - but it gets harder and harder to watch; as people (not the aforementioned OcUKer mind) seem to just want to play the victim even when they're clearly in the wrong. That and the Yanks screaming "OMG you nearly killed me", when a car pulls out on them doing 100mph+ - so yeah, I avoid those types of 'youtubers' nowadays.

Fortnine definitely, usernamekate has an enthusiasm I find engaging and it helps the other half to see a short(ish) woman prove you can ride the taller bikes.

LambChop has his moments too.

Finally got out for a couple of hours for a nice leisurely bimble yesterday.

Got overtaken by an electric bike at one point and crapped myself, the lack of exhaust noise meant I had no idea he was coming for an overtake until I heard the really loud electric zip type noise as he flew past me. Really weird experience
