If you have an older Blade or Bird it might be worth keeping some spares if space permits. I certainly do keep a box of spare fuses. You get a sort of it's going to be ok' state of mind going on I think, I know I do, or used to a lot. I keep some critical spares now though, so stators, rectifier unit, fuses as above, switchgear, relays, bulbs etc. Nothing mega, just those things you can't whip out to the local 24 hours station to fetch.When the motor tried to turn and it met resistance, it then tried to draw more current to force it to turn. In this case it drew so much current it blew the 10 Amp fuse.
