Open Day @ Donnington for the MCE BSB Tomorrow so if anybody's passing then drop in for some Free Bike action.

Anyone elses leather trousers a bit baggy around the bum? they feel absolutely fine when i'm on the bike, sliders in right place etc. but when i'm stood/walking they look like I have no bum in them, just loose material.... waist and length are right. they're not too bad when zipped into my jacket as that pulls them up a little bit.
they're rst which I am(was) going to use for a little while with this bike before looking at other, but not too sure now/.

This - it doesn't matter how they fit when you're not on the bike - when riding you're always have at least a 90 degree angle between your body and legs, which makes the arse tighter. If they were tight when walking around they'd push your balls up into your chest when on the bike!! :p

It's the same as saying that a leather jacket doesn't let me put my arms straight up in the air because it's too tight... :D jackets tend to be pre-formed and trousers are the same, the arms are pre-shaped to the shape your arms will be when riding.

Your life can suck at points....(but it is all good)

Moved and started new job.Got a cheap bike to for commuting (GPZ500s) after having not ridden for a year but I am now obsessing over better more fun bike. I really did not think I would be at this stage after 3 weeks of commuting doing 300 miles a week!!
Throw in the twist of tat wonderfully hateful thing called money and I have to make a call....

Gaming laptop as there is nowhere for my PC (sold it :() or the money goes to a newer bike and I spend less time at home.... Ironically I just bought GTA V and not even started it but it is there on steam. I estimate 16k miles a year on the bike and I am not sure the little old GPZ can handle it given its age?

GTX970m laptop or something like a TDM900 (CBR600F also)... Sensible call... CBF600F due to mileage but it is boring, laptop net year as GTA wont go anywhere.... hearts desire with no sense... CBR600F (upto a 2006 model) and make the meets with you guys as I hve only been once!

Queue Mr VOG lol.

PS got a wedding to save for too!

Do you actually game? I've a farily capable riq with i5 [email protected], 16gb DDR3 RAM, GTX970, 120GB SSD and it barley gets used for gaming... mainly because I don't have that much time to game anyways. I would happily save money on a PC, but I need it for rendering and VM's. :p

BTW Don't get married, waste of money. :p

Kills me to say it but the sensible way to go is a console for gaming, iPad for browsing the web and spend all your spare money on your bike... Oh wait, that's me. :p

I miss my PC but just never had time to get involved with any decent games, certainly don't miss having to upgrade it every year though.

Console peasant :p

BTW I've been sent another plate, spot on out of centre... exactly the same as previous.

I had to return my 980ti under warranty a couple of months back, so am running on onboard 3570k graphics at the mo. Do I want to buy another GPU? Hell no!! All my spare cash is going on a new bike :D

Save gaming for winter when it's cold and wet and the last thing you want to do is nip out for half an hour and return back 6 hours later... ;):D

Commuter bike (which you already have) for putting the miles on, and something nice for the weekend :)

17 degrees and light southerly winds at the weekend on Sunday

Should be a great day for a proper ride out, might take a trip down to Loomies along the A272 and back via Box hill.

Ikr :(

Where do you get your servicing bits and bobs e.g. oil, filters etc from? I'm going to service the bike soon...

Where ever I spot a deal to be honest I've got about 8l of oil, a couple of filters and other bits and bobs that I just picked up when I seen it cheap, tonight would have been the perfect time to stock up from eBay with that 20% off code floating around but it ended at 10.

I bought some Richa Blade boots, let's see if these fit! My current boots are Richa but not sports style.

I didn't think about it, I wanted to quickly buy those boots/gloves with that discount! :(

What oil do you use for your SV?

Normally Castrol power 1 racing 10w40, although I'm using some Hein Gericke own brand stuff at the minute as I picked it up in their sale before Christmas 8l for £20. Not noticed a difference to be honest.
