Now, do I take my chances; get all the tools out and prepare everything to do some bits on the bike or leave it. The clouds are dodgy... looks like its going to rain any time now.

With a lifetime guarantee that's as easy as walking in with no paperwork showing them the ****ed part and getting a new one? Not that I'm aware of.

Baring in mind I'm at work so I have no idea what the guy says in the video.

Unfortunately not, the Europe had some kind of impact on the changes in Law. But if you look at all countries within the EU, the laws are very different. If the EU forced the laws, they would be exactly the same in all countries.

In Poland its 16 yo for A1, 18 yo for A2 after 2 years of owning A2 at the age of 20 you can do A. If you want to jump into doing A, its 24 yo.

Out of my 20 mates who ride, only 4-5 have a license though, Police isn't even trying to stop bikes. :p But none of them have bikes which are legal under their category, so in theory all 20 have invalid licenses. You can easily register a GSX-R 750 on A2, you give a 100 quid bribe and you get a stamp in return along with a new registration document with all the stats required for the bike to be 'legal' or should I say look legal...

One of my mates use to have a ZX6R when he was 16 registered as a 125. :D

Edit

R6 on A2 maybe? http://allegro.pl/yamaha-r6-kategoria-a2-i6085501171.html or CBR600RR http://allegro.pl/honda-cbr-600rr-2004-movistar-leovince-a2-i6101503208.html there's an R1 too http://allegro.pl/r1-35kw-a2-r6-900rr-zx-9r-636-gsx-r-1000-cbr-600-i6106347466.html and something for wazza300 :p http://allegro.pl/kawasaki-636-zx6-r-a2-25-kw-i6095651939.html

Boredom at work has just led me to sit and work out how much all my Kreiga gear would cost me if I bought it from SBS right now.

I've known people who spent less on their first cars

The worrying this is I do quite often stand on the pegs to adjust my backside position not long after I set off in the morning :o

The previous owner seems to have copper slip'd everything though including the rear spindle  so I'm expecting these to be the same, anyone have any ideas on the best way to clear it out of the hole so the threadlock will stick properly?

I was thinking of using brake cleaner to clean off the bolts along with a good spray into the holes then wind the bolts in and out wipe them off again and another good long spray with the cleaner.

No need to use thread lock on foot pegs and copper ease will not make them come loose a good tighten is all that is needed.

Thread lock can be a nightmare if used in the wrong place.
