BitFenix Prodigy ITX build

ok f that, anything above 2133MHz is a nightmare, i think im doing something really wropng or i have reached the max oc of my ram/IMC?
iv dropped my volts to 1.6v although the stacks are cold to the touch at 1.62v.
tomorrow i will play with my timing to see if i can drop them but i have a stable oc @ 2133MHz 10-10-10-28-1

**GOALS FOR TOMORROW**

try for 10-10-10-25-1 @2133
try for 9-10-10-25-1 @2133

Dude, from reading this thread I get an overwhelming sense of just how much you enjoy your hobby of knobbing about with computers!
It's great :D

I had the most fun building mine on Monday, and already I'm looking for what to do next and things I can upgrade and change, so I know exactly how you feel :)

Might try my hand at overclocking..... might bottle it and just buy stuff for the rig instead :p

Anyway, nice thread :)

ty very much chris, i do love knobbing around computers ;)

Well I took a look this morning, pic posted on this thread, http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18420652

I think it will fit in the case, as its 3mm taller than the Lynx that OcUK used when they built one for the demo pics, now, i dont know if that included putting two fans in the top, but i think it should be ok, and can always remove that lump of plastic off the top of it which might cut the size down a 1mm or two.

I was first going to go with the H80, but heard very bad things about them, but still am waiting to see how yours turns out!

Your ram is looking nice. :) hope you get your 9-10-10-21-1T working.

thanks chap, interesting thread :) lets hope it all works out :)

UPDATE 3.2.4

OK i think i have found my max oc for my ram on this board, i upped the BCLK to 103.1 my volts were upped from DRAM 1.56v to 1.57v and VTT from 1.053v to 1.076v to give me 2199MHz if i went 103.2 (2201MHz) it will not boot so i think this has a brick wall @2200MHz

Below are the results and they have improved over the 2133MHz oc.

it would be interesting to see if anyone has the samsung green ram and the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe mobo to see what they can achieve?

who knows i may even buy it one day to see :p

UPDATE 3.2.5

I JUST CANT HELP MY SELF!!!!!!!! i think i have issues :p

taken from my other thread

i dropped back to 103.1 bclk and played with the secondary timings with great results. THIS will be my ram oc :)

2199mhz bclk 103.1 9-10-10-21-1

2201mhz bclk 103.2 9-11-11-35-1

although i do feel happy with my OC so im gonna leave it alone............... i promise

Looking good. Just NEED the case!!

good log! looking forward to seeing it all in the case :)

me too, i just hope it gets dispatched in time for a monday delivery :)

It won't. It'll display the lowest score as its final.

Nice work on the OC.

i thought as much :) and thanks, i have managed to tighten up the secondary timings and it has really improved my read/write/latency scores on aida64 and maxx mem :)

Any news on the case matey?

The GFX card makes the Mobo Look tiny!! haha

eta is still....... FRIDAY THE 13TH lol

someone told me to tighten some times with good results! another round of memtest during work tomorrow :p

ok just going by 8packs advice and changing my tRFC to 114 i have further increased my read/write!!!

DRAM 1.57v
VTT auto (1.053v)

bclk - 103.1
MHz - 2199
timings 9-10-10-21-1T

tWR - 16
tRFC - 114
tRRD - 7
tWTR - 8
tRTP - 8
tFAW - 24
tCWL - 8

below are the results before i changed my tRFC from 148 to 114

(tRFC 148)

(tRFC 114)

i will run memtest again when i go to work tomorrow to test stability, cheers 8 pack

I'm using the same memory settings as yours on just 1.55V with my ASRock Z77 E-ITX :D

Couldn't be arsed waiting on the Prodigy so went with the Silverstone TJ08-E instead, no regrets there :)

My build ^^^

RAM - 8 GB (2x4GB) Samsung Green DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel running @ 2133MHz (10-10-10-24 2N) @ 1.45v

says different in your thread? are you running 2200MHz? have you managed any higher?

i have managed to stabilize 9-10-10-20-1T @ 1.58v and stock volts for VTT and VCCSA so im still tweaking atm :)

stock volts for this ram is 1.585 so im getting there :)

nice build btw
