Really enjoying the beta, It's a 100% purchase.
Just a quick overview of my experience so far.
Some people are going to find BDO annoying and frustrating especially those who lack patience , It's not a spoon fed game alike a number of MMO's I've played - there's a lot to learn and research. I've spent around 20 hours so far and the game is only now starting to feel rewarding now I have some basic understanding, Personally I like this coming from a EQ1 background where you actually have to work things out.
Graphically it's awesome, had a exploration over to Epheria Port and along the way have been blown away with some of the details and immersion this game has to offers.
It does lack the grouping need as I ended up playing this solo even with a group of players on teamspeak, this ofc could change given the guild siege , dungeons and pvp elements. If you prefer to group with players I think joining a well organised guild and not a clan will be the way forward.
I still need to understand how the afk tray mode works, i.e. in using it with fishing the idea sound great however not got it working yet, Also not fully worked out the node system ,Plenty of guides out there though to digest during the 1 week wait.
It does have it's niggles mainly the UI - The quest acting is poor not up to Witcher 3 or BNS standards.
Combat feels a little flat in comparison to BNS that may be just my opinion at current.
In all with a few niggles that could be easily ironed out this game is superb however it won't tick everyone's box, In comparison to WoW / BNS it feels in general aimed at a more mature audience.
