But yeah LG probably will figure out some way to wirggle their way out of giving cash back, at least on JL end, they seem ok with it, well a few of the price match team anyway.....

Yeah not overly bothered about the soundbar or picture on glass stuff tbh, as long as the c7 speakers are plenty good enough, I'll be happy, if not could always try and hook up my edifier speakers.....

Main thing is more the resale value down the line, which might make it worth paying the extra now :/

And then of course, the possibility of being able to get cashback from LG for the e7 making it cheaper than the c7 now.........

Aren't the vast majority of TV's glossy/glass now though? :p

contacted currys, they won't refund the price difference if they drop the price even lower later in the week :/

EDIT:

Suppose could buy now and just not open it till next week and if they do it even cheaper later in this week then just return the dearer one under 14 day law.

I got a code off a support agent as LSTV10 wasn't working for me at checkout, so don't know if I got an extra 49 off by mistake?

Is it likely to drop below £1300? Might ask Richersounds if they'll pricematch as they promise to refund up to 7 days later

I would love to get this offer but 55" is just to big for the space my TV needs to go in (my thick bezel is already touching my speakers) 49" is a seasonable limit but I've seen no offers on the two models I've eyed up at all those models being the Sony KD49XE900 and the Panasonic TX-50EX750B :(:(:(:(:(:(

Got a new code via agent too and now £1349, I want that £49 of too! :p :(

Not 100% sure but think I saw someone say that from Wednesday the tv may be cheaper but maybe they will just drop the price and remove the code :/

I have put a price match in for john lewis and b7 model anyway so that will give me more options to choose from.

Will try richer sounds price match too.



Think I will forget about the e7 as no guarantee for LG cashback and that £250 saving could be put towards something like a gpu or ps 4 pro.

Tried Richer Sounds already, they won't do it as it's a code not a normal price :(

Damn..... Surprised as the code is publicly available/advertised on the site.



Right this is my plan, buy c7 from currys now, get it delivered on Saturday, that way if any cheaper deals are on later in the week, I can just cancel the currys one with ease and the 14 day CCR policy will start once delivered on Saturday.

Ack, I was about 20 minutes away from going to Richer Sounds to ask for the price match (I bought one from them a few days ago). No chance of that happening if the code is no longer on the listing.
 
FAO those who bought a Samsung soundbar with/without a TV, has anyone received an email regarding a pricing error? I've just got one saying that they made an error on the soundbar and have cancelled my order and refunded me. I've had it since Saturday so I don't get what they're doing.
