Black Friday Deals

I thought that air fryers is a current fad that is confirmed to Mumsnet.

Everyone keeps going on about Air fryers therefore I need to buy one to join the cool gang.

I have 2 Dual Basket air fryers  Ninja AF400U & Tower T17088 Vortx

Don't ask why i ended up having 2 of them :o

I was sceptical too until my daughter bought a small one for Uni. She loved it so much that we replaced hers with a decent one and have started using her old small one. So far we love it and it cooks quicker and presumably cheaper than firing up the whole electric oven.

I feel like an airfryer to a westerner is like a rice cooker to a SE/Far East Asian.

Yeah. Airfryers are great. Only use oven for pizza now

Stay off Mumsnet, all of you :p

I have an instant pot (pressure cooker) that can sauté too. Cost less than an airfryer, can tenderise tough meat in less than an hour.

I'll be honest; I dumped mine for an Instant pot, which to be fair does it all BUT all I've ever used it for is sautee and pressure cook. Use it every week. Fantastic thing.

I'm glad to see that a couple of people in this thread have wised up :D

Picked up a 50" 4K QLED for the kids for £300 in the sales, should be nice upgrade for them from a 15 year old 32" 1080p set.

It's a bit annoying because I need a few things for the house but I feel like I now have to wait to order because it'd be stupid to pay more
The reverse works too. Buy all the crap you aren't likely to buy for years because it is at a discount!

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, yo!

This is crazy cheap!
We are still using a 46in plasma!
Probably make its money back in a year at 300

At the place I work it's our biggest peak by far, our entire year is built up to this. People go crazy for it for some reason. Apparently gives us a huge percentage of our profit each year.
I don't know if other people are like me but I use it to save money. I don't buy stuff I don't need. Before any sale period I stop buying things and wait to see if the price comes down. If it does I buy it, if it doesn't I still buy it. So apart from a small number of items I might be tempted for, I just use it to save money on things I was already planning to buy. My shirts and shoes above are a good example. I was going to buy them anyway but held off for BF in case they were reduced.

I bought a set of Blink CCTV cameras/Video Doorbell, a 12Tb External HDD and a 32" 1440p 144Hz Gaming monitor. 12 Months PSPlus Premium subscription, all at great prices.

I got the wife some Timberland winter boots 50% discount so she's happy , I've not bought nothing this time around
If your wife has problems with them hurting etc tell her to go for a walk in soaking wet grass till they are soaked then keep on going till they dry out -will fit like a glove - well mine did.

Ps - or sit with your feet in bowl of warm water.

The Samsung Disney+ offer is a corker - free Disney+ for a year. Seemingly random entitlement. Check it out!

I also ordered 3 Hue indoor sensors from Currys (2 for 3 - so £80 or £26 each. Outrageous but neccesary).
