Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Phase 4 has been utter tripe. Marvel just shovel It out now quantity over quality. Only films I'm waiting for are Blade (best not **** this up) and GotG3. Loved the previous.

Wanted Wesley but he's getting on a bit now. Mahershala looks the part and is a good actor.

Blade was pushed back to September 2024 as they needed to rewrite the entire script - the 1st one was utter tripe and by all accounts Ali wasnt happy as there were only 3 small fight scenes and it was filled to the brim with modern marvel 'storytelling'..

This can only be a good thing. I hope...

I'm not sure Kyo is wrong personally, if you read up anything about movies with delays due to production etc 9 times out of 10 its expected to be a flop by those involved, sometimes they manage to strike gold which is the case with those listed above.

Wakanda Forever was decent. Really good send off and pretty solid storyline. Much better origin story than Aquaman. For me Namor stole the show. Shira had a good supporting cast to help her through. Not sure if she can hold it together solo if there is another. 8/10 for me.

Take it there was only one post credit scene?

What production issues did that have?

It was produced. That was it's problem.

Moreover, my point being that story arcs across multiple films can also suffer from changes in personnel and damage the end result. Depending on who it is and how much control is given.

Imagine the Marvel stuff if they were to allow massive deviations and rogue subversions of expectations by any half wit with a pen and crew at their disposal. It wouldn't end up making any sense. Hence I brought up TLJ.
