Black Pudding - yay or nay?

Stornoway not as good as a good bury blackpudding. Poor imitation if you ask me, too much like haggis not enough fat.

Eh? Stornoway is nothing like haggis and has plenty of fat, just not in large pieces like cheaper quality puddings. Having a rotund figure and tried many black puddings including Bury, nothing comes close to Stornoway in terms of both taste and texture, in my opinion of course.

Its the large chunks of fat that make a black pudding.

Black pudding is amazing, such a tasty thing. Stornoway black pudding is definitely my favourite and I've just found that a butcher in town is selling it so I'm a happy man.

The starter at the Mashtun was fantastic. Actually, all the food I had there was top quality. Hard to believe it was 5 years ago I was there.

Hell yay... gives a lovely bit of extra flavour to the full english breakfast, mix it in with the beans and or tomatoes...

I don't know if it's a weird black country thing, but my father in law likes it raw with cheese/cheeseboard... I can't say I'm a big fan of that but it does have a certain flavour raw.

Raw is good as well, makes for a nice quick tasty sandwich with some cheese and Lea & Perrins.

White pudding, on the other hand, has to be cooked.
