For me it's all about 100fps. If I can't play a game at max settings at 100fps then the GPU needs an upgrade. once you go sustained 100fps there's no going back
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Aside from poor game releases with bad optimisation (frame drops), everything so far runs at 100fps - A 5090 would not change the results of those badly optimised games
Nothing is on the roadmap for change in terms of new engine tech, everything we have now will be there too in 12 months, and everything being shown now, even at Unreal fest with UE 5.5 runs at 60fps on a PS5 Pro so there is 0% a 4090 will be taxed going forwards by newer games leveraging new engine tech, it should on the contrary run even better if bad optimisation due to poorly managed devs is a thing of the past.
The point is that there is no objective way of measuring value to the individual buying a high-end luxury gaming product that is not being purchased for business purposes that they then profit form.I don’t know about anyone else, but that sounds subjective rather than objective i.e. feels over facts.
Your posts are mostly garbled nonsense that repeat the same things over and over.let’s see how well people lap this 5090 up and I bet we’ll be getting a £4000 6090 and people will still lap it up, yeah I can’t blame them if I was big enough and could mug people like that maybe I would, or maybe I wouldn’t, maybe I’d just see pc games as a chore and just huff and puff and sell a really high priced gpu because all I’m interested in is the AI scene, then milk the tier down from it for as much as I could for minimal gain while also milking it with revenue from people streaming games that utilise my overpriced GPUs to further increase my profit margins

For me it's about 90+ as I was testing every 10fps increments a while ago and about 90 stable seems to be the sweet spot. Anything above that is nice to have but not crucial and below the feels laggy and not fluid. Also, FG is a nice tech but really not a game changer, as it's not great with low input FPS and when I can't reach 90 without it I often rather just slightly lower something. For me it's all about 100fps. That's mighty optimistic of youif bad optimisation due to poorly managed devs is a thing of the past.
Who is up for a cheeky poll. For how much the 5090 is going to cost. Say starting at under 1600 quid and then going up in 200 quid increments.
But which one? MSRP for basic cards you will never see on the market after very first few minutes; FE prices that will be higher because "premium"; AIB cards which will not be able to reach MSRP because Nvidia fleecing them; premium 5090 for 30% highest prices because whales; something else?Who is up for a cheeky poll. a better poll is how much are you willing to pay for 5090?Who is up for a cheeky poll. For how much the 5090 is going to cost. Say starting at under 1600 quid and then going up in 200 quid increments.
