Lepsons did a fantastic job on my E46, but it only looked fantastic for about 6 months. For some reason they seem to struggle to get a long lasting finish, and that seems to ring true from other people I talk to as well.

Being perfectly honest I don't really know who I would trust to refurbish a wheel. A lot of people have spoke highly of places that do wheels on an exchange basis, but I'm just overly wary that I'm going to be given a wheel that could have been bucked or welded at some point in its life.

Me neither which is why I am so annoyed. The car is only 18 months old too :(

Can you use your phone to put in destinations. I think the later version is what does texts and stuff ?

Was gonna get map update too then realised that when I do use it, I end up checking with google maps is so much better.

Yes I can but this isn't part of 6NR (My old F10 did this as well and predated 6NR) it is part of the Connected Drive subscription. I use the Smartphone app (or Google Maps Send to Car on PC) and it sends destinations to the iDrive.

The warranty isn't cheap but neither is repairs at BMW, I'd personally prefer the monthly payments and piece of mind of cast iron protection rather than saving the payments per month and hoping if / when something failed it wouldn't cripple my wallet.


Having ran plenty of old BMW's over the years, I wouldn't expect a major failure on a 5 year old one especially that's been looked after in the dealer network however, f10's being as complex as they are, I wouldn't want to have one without a cast iron warranty nor would I want to let a back street garage near it.
 
Went to see my friends new car today, it was cloudy and raining so these are the pics from collection. :)

First time I've ever been near one and it is a really really nice place to be. 66 plate, 3k miles, fully loaded, £54k.

A lot quieter then I expected to be honest, but thats a good thing as it is his new daily and replacing a vw truck. Think I actually prefer the M3 saloon over the M4 coupe now. Photo doesn't do the interior justice at all.

Looks an awesome colour that M3. Sytner Harold Wood I think? They seem to have a lot of M3s there as AUC, often pre-registered. I went to look at a dark green one there a few months ago but they wouldn't come down to the price I wanted to pay.

I much prefer the M3 over the M4 for looks.
