BMW and M Power Owners

in general not really, they are quite expensive for example
Mini 1.5. 5 door, chill/media XL pack
via salary sacrifice £380
via salary deduction £470

I dunno my internal NHS trust transport department have just quoted me £186 a month for a Golf Gti which isn't bad really it's a lot cheaper than im paying for my 225d Msport which is £386. So i ordered the golf on that price alone.

Im not using Tusker which is what any NHS staff can use, in the trust we have a internal transport dept for qualifying staff which is i guess how the cars i can get are quite as bit cheaper.

£186, if still fully maintained and insured etc. is phenomenal for a GTI. Nice!

Yeh fully insured and maintained for 3 years with 7500Personal and 3500 Business miles i only put dynaudio speakers on it as i didn't think it would come back under £300 tbh as i had a quote in for a GTD at the same time and that came back at £171 so i was happy to pay 15 quid more for a GTI over that.

Definitely mate, well done there like. I thought £384 for my 530e was good!

In around 18/24 months I'll be looking for an estate car.

Now, I'm quite keen on something like this. The white with black appeals to the chav in me although I'd probably go for dark grey eventually. I do like the red leather, very boogie nights to me :)

What are these like reliability wise? Are there any must have options - I would want Pro Nav. Not overly fussed on xDrive transmission.

That's mental, so much so that I thought it *had* to be a mistake. I was telling her that the tech in the 5's isn't much/at all different to the 3's so there's no way it'll be 3x the price.

No matter how you look at, spending nearly £1200 (or £1300 if you use it once) on a warranty on a 4 year old 30k mile 520d is just nonsensical. It made sense for her to pay £400 odd a year for the peace of mind on her 325i, but £1200 makes no sense. Oh well!

The current price for a 3 Series warranty is £650 with £100 excess and recovery. If you are continuing an existing extended warranty they do not pass on the larger price increase which will be why your mum was paying £400 a year for her old 325. Still crazy they charge so much extra for a car that is mechanically almost identical.

Also annoying they class Cooper S and JCW Minis in a similar fashion as M cars, makes it unlikely I would buy another one luckily they didn't pass the increase on to my wife's policy it only went up £15 for the year rather than £400.

For that money I'd go for a 335d xdrive. Getting a much better engine in the N57, if I'm correct the 330d is the older model. I'm sure fox will tell me if I'm wrong.

You are wrong :p both the 335 and the 330 are N57 engines and the 335 isn't 'much better' it's just a more powerful variant. It's also likely that a 330d will offer a newer or lower mileage car for the money.

Absolutely loved my 330d touring car, they are a lovely drive and it never let me down once. That example is overpriced though for a 2014 model, you could actually get an AUC for that.

Yeh that'd be very annoying. I got a quote for my M3 just to see if I could be surprised - I was, but unfortunately not for the better - a years warranty was mine for the grand total of £3999.74

anybody using carly to code their bmw ?
ordered one today, is it safe ?

It's great, it's safe and it's easy.

Haha this is why I should stay quiet on these forums... and in life. :D

Over 60k miles, the warranty is ridiculous on e92.

They are pretty reliable though so it’s prob worth keeping the money for a rainy day
