BMW and M Power Owners

What are the thoughts of a high mileage X3 30d m sport? 62plate and 97k miles.

Above standard spec it has the two things I'd want, pro nav and xenons. Is there a link for things to look out for when buying used and possible common faults?

Would love a 35d but they're currently looking out of budget. And for sake of 0.4seconds faster (or whatever it is) not sure of benefits apart from feeling more like a petrol on power delivery.

The **** is this horse **** now?!

Never in my history of owning BMWs has a badge completely worn off...?! Were these fakies?

Bloody fake news wheel caps!!

:(

FYI those in the brum area I managed to get the wife's alloys refurbished, diamond cut for 85 a pop which I thought was a good price.

The white graphics are also much more current than the 1980's red style on the F10.

Shame about the font which is quite literally straight out of the 1970s. Why are they going backwards by using a 7 segment display? It looks totally crap and we all mocked it when Lexus used to use it for the clock.

Oh look what a surprise it looks great when you pay extra for the upgraded climate. Which nobody ever does.

Same principle as the stupid halogen indicators on the front headlights.

Climate panel looks fine to me, and it looks like they finally got rid of that ridiculous manual vent temp control. Have they managed the technology to link both sides together yet?

It's funny, I wasn't a fan of it when I first saw it but tell you what, I think it's an amazing looking car in M-Sport guise.

Eh? I'm sure my e90 even had a button that did that.

Nope bmw figured it would be better to adjust both sides separately in their dual zone systems for the longest time.

Seems they still offer plenty of models with no sync function. Even some cases where they added it then removed it again. They really are clueless when it comes to climate systems.

1, 2, 3 and 4 series have no Sync function for some bizarre reason but 5 series and up do. Hopefully the next generation cars will reinstate it.

Thankfully BMW climate control is good enough that it's basically set and forget so it's not a major issue.
