BMW and M Power Owners

Desperately failing at finding a wing mirror glass for the F10 M5 as someone decided to pass rather close to me on the motorway last night. I've got the 3pin plug version and can't seem to find what I'm looking for.

In other news,

46k oil service (spark plugs, filters, etc), front and read pads.....:eek::rolleyes:

Which side for the mirror...i may be able to assist.

Yep, I am well aware. I "dropped" to a 335 and, without sounding arrogant, it felt so much more plasticky than the five.
You running the extended warranty Fox?

Exactly what I did, went for a 335 and regretted it.

Mine isn't under extended warranty yet as I've still got a year of new car warranty left but I'll renew unless they ruin the pricing.

I actually do need drivers side too. Is it the 3/4 pin plug type? Electrochromatic, etc?

It's got a 3 and 4 pun socket from memory. Auto dimming and heated. I got it because i needed a respray on my mirror from a paint fault and the guy doing it said the glass breaks about 50% of the time when they try to remove it. Booked in for the spray fri so I'll let you know. In the meantime got it from...

Tested and it works.

Ah sorry, this is for an M5, not a normal 5er. I have seen those mirrors though, so thank you for checking

Yes, after RTFM I now see that. Still, £500 tax on a new 640D? Man, that's a lot.

It is the first years new car tax and only if they fail the new real world driving test for emissions (which every new car sold will need to pass in 2021/2022) going by the test results just now I would expect any diesel car equipped with adblue will pass this test ones without will fail. If the 640D did fail the test you would be paying a one off additional £300.

It then reverts to the normal rates of £140 plus £310 for being over 40k for the first 5 years which is the same for both petrol and diesel.

Had a ride & drive event at work yesterday and started off in a Merc GLC to Cosford air museum. Then managed to grab the keys to a new 5 series for the trip back. 520 SE but plenty of options including the adaptive dampers.

Well impressed, superb car and knocks the XF out the water for the whole interior experience. I-drive with gesture and touchscreen is a perfect blend of feature and intuition too. Really relaxing car too.

Is that one exhaust per side, on a basic 4 pot diesel? Like a 340i has? Are manufacturers making up for time lost on the Max Power days or something?

Makes you realise how poor a lot of the JLR products are doesnt it? Its a shame as i love the Land Rover brand :(
