Yeah... it was fun on something like my early MX5s that saw a major difference from it. But cars like these... it's not really needed.

The only thing I want to do would be exhaust upgrades... Sharkwerks for the GT3, but I have to check with dealer about warranty implications. Maybe similar for the M2... the 720S will wait until the MSO variant is available as they've already told me it could impact engine warranty if the issue is related to the exhaust.

assuming its just a detuned version of the M3/M4 engine in the M2 CS (i.e. no hardware changes) thena quick remap to 520bhp!

My wife really wants a Z4, but I'm reluctant to spend a lot as it will be an occasional car. I've decided on manual and 30i. Budget around £11k.

Porsche-esque. Bet people have put deposits on the next cayman GT4 without even knowing if it using a 3 cylinder motor from a vw polo or the 4.0 GT3 engine

Speak to dealer and ask... they don't know many details yet but were happy to take my money

Like I said... I'm not even the first on the list at this dealer.

Can I get updated maps for my 5 series sat nav, not willing to go via the local BMW dealer I purchased the car from as they will rip me off no doubt!

Yes you can. Have a look on the UK bmw forums. Cost me £20 last year.

Been looking over a few e92 325i/330i's on autotrader. I've wanted one for a good while now, but I'm pretty undecided.

No idea if the process is any different but I updated the maps on my f30 myself. Downloaded the 2018-1 maps, generated the fsc code and then did the update. Having said this I did read that some idrive systems can’t be done?

What's the general consensus on Z4 35si? Looking at them and they do seem like a decent package for the price.
