BMW and M Power Owners

500bhp should make it feel somewhat lighter...

There's always the much cheaper and viable M2 mind! :)

I'd rather the M2, 500HP in a 2 tonne car does not feel fast to me.
If they make it 600+ and its more like 1600-1700kg then it should have some pretty good ooomph to it. :)

Odd spec that, somebody has optioned the 19 inch wheels and sun protection glass - but not gone for the M Sport Plus package which would have added the rear spoiler and the Harmon Kardon stereo.

Indeed. Very difficult to find the right spec/mileage combo on these cars without spending ££££'s extra. I think I'll just have to jump on the next one that turns up. Would very much prefer an approved used one if possible, but that may not be an option within my budget of <£20k.

I’m told that you have to have a certified BMW garage to carry out any work on a PCP car? I that correct...

If you're not intending to own the car after the finance period, then that would normally be a requirement of your finance agreement with the company. Otherwise, you may not receive the full GFV or incur a penalty (due to lower perceived value of the car).

It would not affect the manufacturer's warranty though, as long as the garage is VAT registered and they use OEM parts.
