BMW and M Power Owners

spec and miles ?

61 plate, DCT, comp package (with as new rims), 64k miles, immaculate black novillo leather throughout, individual audio system (the higher spec than HK) with DAB, HDD etc, just had new throttle actuators and battery.

First to see will buy. :p

She's a beauty. :)

It’s to do with getting BMW warranty and the price increase after 60k. Rather than just perception of miles.
Oh I know about the warranty and the 60k mile price increase, just saying it's not the end of the world :)

One to think about though, seems to be quite a lot for sale at the moment too.

My brother in law dropped their lowly 116d in for an oil service at Knights Stafford and was given an M760li X-Drive, my partners 118d is due a brake fluid change and she’s been told they’ll loan her a 5 Series for the day - perhaps dealers are trying to tempt 1 Series pheasants to upgrade? :D
Probably helps that they've spent over £100k with them in a recent years ;)

Well, my sister and brother in law certainly have spent a lot with Knights over the years, my partner though (who was offered a 5 Series) bought her car used, from a different dealer which was not part of the same group, and has never previously dealt with Knights....

presumably, you are not obliged to top it up to the same level when you return it ?

EDIT ..ie the 15mpg? 760il ... would opt for a hybrid loaner, although a real-M might swing it.

A loan car? I - on the few occasions I’ve had one - always have but then I’ve tended to use a noticeable amount of fuel.

I’d guess if it arrived full and returned empty questions would be asked but if the fuel used was negligible it wouldn’t be an issue.

I'm going to apologise right from the start but having now owned my f30 335i for quite some time I in all honesty have to say I actually preferred my old Accord.

Drove to Bracknell yesterday so a good long drive along A and M roads and the car just, it's difficult to say exactly but it feel too fidgety if that makes sense. It seems to pick up every imperfection on the road, yesterday on the M25 the left hand side of the car was making a different sound to the right and I could alter it by moving the car left or right in the lane.

I did have the car checked over in March and what they did find they fixed but is this the way the 3 series is? I've also tried altering the tyre pressures, currently on around 35 but I've had them as high as 39. Currently it does have run flats on the front and non RF Contact Sport 5 on the back. The fronts will need changing in a month or 2 so I'll get them changed out to non RF.

Overall I'm just disappointed, my Accord never squeaked or rattled, my 3 series does, the audio is not that great even though I have HK.

I do love the engine and the auto gearbox though, I think my ideal car would be my old Accord with the engine and gearbox from the 3 :D
