What’s the extended warranty cost on a 330e? The idea of something related to the battery going wrong on a used car gives me the sweats. Purely for calming my troubled mind as a used buy with no warranty I’d take the 320i. Or a 420i Gran Coupe.
Nope... Wrong..Anyway, 530bhp is more than enough for a practical car....
Will do. I'm expecting quite a noticeable improvement considering the age and condition of the parts being replaced. I originally wanted to pair the B8s with the Eibach springs (so the B12 kit) however the angle of my drive means I'd bottom out with a ~20mm drop. I'd decided to keep the stock springs until a very lightly used set of Birds B1 springs came up which only drop the car 5-10mm.Nice! Let us know how the ride changes after this. I'm planning on doing some of these for my M140i next mods. I already have eibach pro springs ready to go on and plan on getting the bilsteins and some wheel spacers (12mm rear 10mm front). Will change them all in one go!
Nope... Wrong..
That 550 does look a very nice place to be though, And I bet it still shocks with its performance.... If i've not driven mine for a week or so I can't give it full beans as its just too much. Gives your brain a rush.. You get used to the performance though......Until the next time
its spoilt take off in planes though.....
I have just been quoted by my local dealer £1066 for a 2-year service plan on my 2017 M240i, which includes 1x interim service this month, 1x major service in 2 years, 2x MOTs, an additional brake fluid service (needed now) + 4x seasonal health checks.
Excluding the health checks, if I were to do everything separately would cost be £930. I am fairly certain I'll go for the latter, and forego the seasonal health checks. Would people agree they are not worth £136 extra? Or worth trying to get a 5-10% discount from the dealer, which may make the plan worthwhile?
For comparison, doing everything at my local indy would add up to £897 at least, but as it doesn't feel as much of a discount, I'd stick to the dealer.
Edit: just seen a spring health check advertised at £40, so 4x would be £160, so the plan barely offers any saving.
I've never found the BMW plans competitive, for example VW cover our Tiguan for £35 a month over 2 years, it has the services and MOT, but also includes warranty and breakdown cover.I have just been quoted by my local dealer £1066 for a 2-year service plan on my 2017 M240i, which includes 1x interim service this month, 1x major service in 2 years, 2x MOTs, an additional brake fluid service (needed now) + 4x seasonal health checks.

Corrected table as major service excludes brake fluid and vehicle service check, which are payable. One MOT is included free. Also who is gonna bother using the seasonal health check.
Cash flowThe only service package I have ever found to be good value is the one you can purchase before the vehicle has its first service. I don't really understand the point of the other ones.
is there any scope to see what might polish out, without interfering with any claim process , assuming it's not on PCP where maybe there is no option.I thought the damage was, just one small dent in the wheel arch and most of the marks are paint transfer, not deep scratches etc.
Yep, was wondering about this earlier. Car needs a wash anyway so may try and do it this weekend.is there any scope to see what might polish out, without interfering with any claim process , assuming it's not on PCP where maybe there is no option.
