Hmm yep we both do but not wanting to totally dismiss as that is a good point, but my brother had the same camera in his 1 series without issue. And i've had the same camera in numerous other cars without issue. However that is not to say it could be interefering in some special way.
EDIT: I run front and rear, my bro just runs front cams. So that kind of rules out the rear cam causing interference.

Cheers, that viewpoint surprises me but the idea of keeping it is somewhat alluring. I might stick it through a service and get the headlights sorted and see how I feel about it then.
Surely you can just unplug them and see if the issue goes away?
Yep I can try that although the base is magnetic so not sure if that would still cause an issue. Also the rear cam doesn't have any ferrite cores attached to the cable, unlinke the front so I might try some (cheap fix if it works)

What are BMW on labour now, £120 hour?
They’ll charge an hour labour which leaves £70 per pad.
High but not excessive.
Source the pads yourself and get an independent to do it IMO.

My neighbour just picked up a facelift X5 50e in Davitgrau and it really pops in the sun. I was unconvinced when he told me he was getting a grey one, but it really sparkles!

Glad you’re happy with the result Worth giving it a good look over in the dark with your phone torch to make sure they’ve ceramic coated it properly (if they have indeed coated it) - it can be tricky for a mobile detailer to ceramic a car.
I'll try that over the weekend, It certainly seemed a thorough job. The last time I had my car detailed the detailer kept the car for 5 days but that was double the price and you don't know how much work they actually put into it when its not with you.
It reminds me of champagne quartz, but obviously much less yellowy
Picked up a 2019 540 yesterday. It’s a brilliant car that doesn’t half move when it wants to the point where I need to keep a very careful eye on the speedo when overtaking! Got it in blue as I’m not a fan of black or white cars (no offence intended to those with such colours!). I’ve already removed the silver grill and replaced it with a nice gloss black one - astonishing how such a small, cheap change does to the overall look of the car. I’ll take some pics once it’s stops raining here…
I do have a question as I’m banging my head against a brick wall trying to find a solution. I was intending to buy the CarPlay option but it appears that it’s been standard since 2017. However, when I connect my iPhone I only get the option of connecting by Bluetooth. What am I missing as my google-fu has uncovered no help whatsoever

If it has ID6, you can get it "unlocked" pretty cheap via ebay people or on some forums. Or ask BMW to do it and pay the premium.

I’m not getting an option to purchase it online. Take it you need to go into a BMW garage?
Call them and ask. Plenty of places online offer it, however you may need to reapply it after BMW service the car because they may update the car which removes it.

Someone in this thread was offered to have it activated for £200. Worth doing it officially if possible.
