BMW and M Power Owners

I don't know - I have the same thing with mine and I still don't really understand it yet :D

Funny you mention that - same here. Every time I look at the app it's suggesting a different pressure. I assume it adjusts dynamically based on temperature...

Tried to use the AC today.
(Regassdd only 2 weeks back)

Stationary it's fine. Very cold.
As soon as I drive, it flicks between cold and warm... mostly warm. Which was wonderful for myself and my 12month old. Cooking away. Took back to garage who gassed it. Machine did it again, pulled 557g from it and put back In 540g

Sigh, this car is sodding cursed.

Any idea what to check? I'm thinking it's the AC pressure switch.

Anyway, the steering racks thrust bearing is worn
doing it on the warranty you had, is out ? jut the hassle of the logistics.

On benefits of having a personal unlimited sim and data contract in the car , was discussing demise of land line telephones and replacement by voip -
voip or wi-fi calling using car HU / aerial has got to be the future.
I'm going to start recording some conversations I have with folks using phones in their cars - to demonstrate to them how bad/distorted these HFP/BT calls can sound - with their knowledge.

Warranty? Oh that 3rd party nonsense i was given? It's classified as "wear and tear"... so no go.
As useful as a chocolate teapot. It's a £60 part. I'll do it myself in under 30mins. I want to get under it anyway to inspect the underside myself.

EDIT:
New inner tie rod and tie rod end has been approved by this 3rd party warranty company to be done at a local garage. Happy days, saved me £200

Could you let me know what they say about it (if anything) please? :)

Mine has gone in today, just seen on the 'online tracker' notes
"DAB reception ok, no faults in system, 12volt cigar chargers can cut dab reception"

Not surprised, presumably a fob off because I had my USB charger plugged in....

Also getting some 'friction plates' fitted because of a clicking noise at full lock, new seat bolster 'inflators' as the current ones have leaked from airbags, handbrake adjusted

I don't think there is anything wrong with it - it's just not very good.

Mine is the same on multiple cars.

Has anyone had their transmission fluid flushed and renewed on the 8spd auto? Be it the ZF or Aisin unit.

Is it worth doing as preventative maintenance after 7 years and 40K miles?
missed this from nearly a week ago. I'm getting mine done soon at a ZF agent up here in Glasgow. 2015 428i with the 8 speed auto, 46,000 miles. £350+VAT so £420.

I found there here:

I had a look through all the tyre settings, didn't change anything and when I came out the menu it started calibrating them again and recommended a lower pressure. Not sure why, was similar weather conditions both times. Least I don't get the notification now.

Just set them to what the cold pressures are meant to be and don't worry about it. I set mine to cold pressures but my car doesn't give me live updates.

I agree, but on the VAG cars we have the reception is way better, and also was on my 2012 ford mondeo!

Perhaps, but my point was that no dealer is going to be able to fix this because there isn't an obvious fault. It's just not a very good system. I've got very limited experience with it on cars other than BMW and Mini, but in every single BMW or Mini I've driven, the reception cuts in and out. I assumed it was because the signal isn't particularly strong and the nature of digital is either you have it or you don't.
