BMW and M Power Owners

Yeah seen the same with some m340i I'm watching in the last few days....seems to be that time of year they can't shift stock and interest rates probably putting people off finance...

Just discovered the Chrome autotrader extension...really useful seeing the history of price changes on a car..

Same with Porsche. there are currently 100 brand new 0 mile Taycans at dealers with a minimum of £20k off. Best one I saw was £25k off.
Jayemmoncars did a recent YT video about how the arse is falling out of the rare Porsche market thanks to rising interest rates and buyers being picked and chosen by dealers initially. Stuff like Turbo S 911’s with £30k price cuts since August and dozens of GT4 Cayman’s sitting with massive discounts recently. I’d imagine the same applies to other brands at the moment too.

Was going to post this. Will be interesting to watch the market over the next few months..... crash incoming?

Be careful B58 owners.
My car started bellowing white smoke. Was an omg poo pants moment.

Read online it might be PCV...

So popped the cap off, and mine was torn pretty badly.

The Cap was shattered on removal, so I'm pleased I opened for the PerformanceM online stores version for £30. As their cap fits. Can buy a kit half that price, but LOTS of report of badly fitting caps.

No more smoke after a quick drive.

Boom, cheap fix. Happy days.

Back in the game...:)

E36 328i, fully undersealed, pretty much everything replaced under the bonnet apart from engine, all new disks etc. 90k on the clock.

Plan to raise the rear up, then get it booked in for a ceramic coating. Might also get rid of the m3 mirrors as not sure on the look and they're not that functionally good either!

Sad day.

Delivery lorry with a solid T bar tried to pull my front end off.

Well... Silver lining... In need's a new bumper anyway. There was a paint chip on that wing and it didn't align with the bumper too.
So... if it's all repaired correctly with new BMW parts, I'm not too fussed.
Except it'll probably be written off.

Wing, Door Skin, Bumper, probably bonnet as well, and that's without all the bits you can't see or think about like arch liner, all the various clips, possibly new side skirt etc.

All those parts amount to approx £3.5k from BMW. Before paint and labour. add an extra few grand.

I wont accept a write off for anything under £10k repair costs, which that cannot be. But hey, will find out soon enough.

Fun times ahead. I wonder what car i'll get to drive around in.

Current part prices are incredibly high, my parents BMW recently had a new rear bumper (via insurance) and that alone was over £3k in total!

If they replace the wing, bumper, bonnet and door I can see that being well into 5 figures.

Take a look here - for some damage that looks a lot less serious than yours:
