BMW and M Power Owners

Anyone fitted Bosch AeroTwin blades to a G20/G21? I needed a new set of wiper blades so got these from Euro Car Parts - put my registration in and these popped up as an 'exact fit'. Except they don't appear to fit. They slip over the wiper arm but just at the end when you are supposed to squeeze the two tabs and click it into place, it feels like it won't do so. Don't want to force them in case I have to return them for a different set.

The blades are Bosch part code A930S and are listed as the correct fit. So maybe I'm just doing something wrong

Gave up and returned them to my local Euro Car Parts store where the helpful chap there happily swapped them for a set of Valeo Silencio VF371 blades. Apparently these are the same as BMW OEM blades at a saving of around half the price. They fitted in seconds with no drama  :)

Valeo are indeed OEM of BMW blades. They’ve been a great option on every car I’ve had.

Called BMW, tasked them with dealing with my cars repairs.

AXA want to wait 7 days before I'm allowed a hire car. I can't wait that long, children school runs and work wont allow it.

Auxillis wanted to get involved from Admiral (My insurance), but they want to claim £550 PER DAY in car hire costs from AXA, and if AXA say no i'll be liable?! Yea, no chance.
BMW however, are sending me a car from Enterprise, likely to be under £100 a day. Much better.
Auxillis wouldn't agree to genuine BMW parts only.
BMW... well its BMW so I expect genuine and was confirmed on the phone.

DO NOT GET A HIRE CAR FROM AUXILIIS!

Sorry for the caps, but this exactly what happened to me. Over a year later and the case has been submitted to court because the third psrty insurance refused to pay for the hire car and I'm now liable!

£550 per day is utterly ridiculous, how can they even suggest this as their costs are minimal compared to the fee. And people are wondering why insurance costs are skyrocketing?!

I saw some reviews saying this.
And then their document said:
Daily Rental Rates: Tariff Group: SBA09
1-6 Days £527.11
7-27 Days £455.29
28+ Days £407.41

I confirmed that these were DAILY costs, and they said yes.
That is £7000 for 14 days... Which i could be liable for... no thanks.

sympathy - you engaged Auxillis independently or Admiral did ? doesn't sound like good service from Admiral; could you ring AXA direct it's an uncontested fault by their client.
Admiral did. I've now pulled out from them. Already contacted AXA, but they want too long to get a hire car to me. Which is a shame, i'd very much like to reduce the financial burden this will have.

My total hire car bill is about 10k

I'm really surprised, usually they will be as efficient as possible to convince you to you let them deal with it which lets them control the costs.

You were bonkers to take that liability on.
I didn't think I would have the hire car for that long, the third party insurers dragged the whole thing out and I ended up with the hire car for over a month and I also didn't think the third party insurer could accept liability for the accident but still refuse to pay for the hire car!
