BMW and M Power Owners

Can you? i didnt know that. Must go check on my x5. At the moment on its setting I have some serious doubts about the speed it thinks it can take 90 degree bends at! I always bottle it and brake
Yep - I stole this image from another forum which shows the options

Set 'Automatically adjust speed to route' on, then you have some options below.

Mucked around with an AI image generator this morning, seem to be a lot of these popping up on the online owners groups for cars :)

Not bad, it even managed to produce my Fiona red leather interior (although there appear to be 3 front seats, granted :D)

Had to do a double take then, thought that was the new M2.

Collect my car tomorrow and the last few posts regarding spark plugs/servicing got me thinking. It was serviced on the 15th last month at 30k miles 4 years old. Should I expect the plugs etc to have been done on that ?

This sounds like it would have been the cars second oil service, so if it was then yes.

I will have to change that then. At the moment there is one really bad bend it still wants to send the x5 round at 57mph. No way would I take that bend at more than 40-45mph unless I was in a sports car.

Is this really the right sort of road for using adaptive cruise control on anyway? I've generally only found it useful on motorways and dual carriageways. Surely you want to be driving the car yourself on roads with bends like that.

Sometimes I am lazy and just the car do its thing. This is my route to and from work every day. Its great at all the other bends, just a bit too optimistic (for my liking) on this one bend.

I'm use Adaptive Cruise a lot too. Looks like Driving Assistant Pro from BMW offers much more than what 'Pilot Assist' did on my Polestar.

It can stop at traffic lights and change lanes automatically when you indicate - nice :)

Getting into deep levels of tyre geek'ery now.
I was just reading about the special tyres Pirelli made for the iX : P Zero Elect PNCS, with A rated range and efficiency - nice :)

So I went to my local main deal (Sytner) at the weekend and they valued my current Kodiaq my current payoff with VW finance would be paid and with the additional 1k incentive I’d have a 5k deposit, really want 530D Saloon 25k mileage but flexible on that (not sure what a safe limit to mileage would be on these cars as they have full dealer SH) dark colour, Technical Pack, M sport/Pro pack, anything else is a bonus but they currently have nothing in their system, I read that Sytner are pushing the service cost up more than other main dealers, should I look at other BMW dealers to see if they can match my local dealer and have more stock of my dream car??

There are loads of them on the BMW approved site, find one you like and call the dealer. Why does it need to be local?
Ive purchased my last 5 series from them, and they gave my current Kodiaq a strong valuation, also a 1k insentive but I’m thinking they are my only option … I like what I know, bad habit of mine I guess

Just look at national stock, no point sticking with a local dealer just because.
Doing that now, and how does the servicing work after, main dealer suffice or a local BMW Specialist (Which I see we have in my home town)

Never brought where I can't drive to (If that makes sense)
