BMW and M Power Owners

Mine did that for a bit a while ago but then stopped and has been normal since!
Likewise, mine did it a few times every now and then but then sorted itself so I just put it down to gremlins at the time. But it's pretty much constant now.

Not sure if it'll make any difference but someone over on Bimmerpost said to try rebooting the iDrive as that worked for them.

Yay nor Nay? Part of me likes it because it's just so stupidly ridiculous...

Nay. In fact, not even nay.

It’s “absolutely not a ******* chance as I’d have to poor bleach in my eyes every time I looked at it”

Not as bad as the iX of course, you’d have to be a sicko to buy one of those :p

Also, you’d have to wear appropriate clothing to drive this.

But just to be clear I’m not a judgmental person ;)

(Obviously this is all in jest before some detective looks at this post in 25 years time)

I saw an M2 with all that rubbish on it on the road recently and it didn't look any better in the flesh than it does in pictures. It looks like it's depleted in value to the point someone has bought it off Gumtree and started doing DIY mods with crap they're buying off Wish - nothing matches, the style is all over the place, the spoiler looks like it was designed for a 90s Vectra or something and the less said about the exhaust the better.

Something like:

Grey Nike tracksuit
Air force ones in white, but slightly dirty and discoloured because you’re a slob that doesn’t look after stuff
Gold necklace
Gold rings
Ear piercing

Well I look the part, just need to get the car now

Anyone else with a B58 with MPPSK had theirs on a Dyno?

Did mine today, 298.7HP @ the wheels and 380ftlb.

If you apply a 20% transmission loss due to RWD then its 358 @ the crank. Which is about right.

New Injectors and Spark plugs going in next week. Injectors as a prevention service (originals can get stuck open, they refreshed them with a new model). Spark plugs should be done every 30k according to people online. And they were last done at 28k miles according to the service history. Now at 66k.

I'll stick it back on the Dyno in the new year to see if there is a change.

They are due every other oil service, so usually about every 40k or 4 years depending on your driving. The car will adjust the estimate according to how the car is driven.

Bmw also suggest a silly long wait between oil changes too. I'm not one to leave it that long.
Maintain it well, it'll last. Well, that's what I think anyway.

Love how the BMW Active Cruise / Assisted drive auto reduces speed for cornering, and you can set whether you want to corner fast, medium or slow in the setup :)

lol as long as it has read and understood the reverse camber sign on the A10 N Littleport you will be fine, and, is monitoring the mud on the road,
the tesla model 3 crashes radar crashes were because the radar didn't track/lost the car in front on a bend, and sped up, so interesting to see bmw's approach to that too.

Went for a look round on Sunday at the local dealer and made the mistake of looking at a 2018 5 series touring which I now really like :D Lucky for me the wife really liked too so I'm not tempted to wait for a few months whilst I get a bit more together and go for that!

Mucked around with an AI image generator this morning, seem to be a lot of these popping up on the online owners groups for cars :)

Not bad, it even managed to produce my Fiona red leather interior (although there appear to be 3 front seats, granted :D)

The BMW system is great - you feel confident having a little snooze on stretches without complicated junctions.

which w5w/t10 bulb for e46 generation sidelights ? maybe mrk has advice

current incandescents yellowing, probably carbon on the bulb interior, the halogen h7 headlighs are white in comparison so want something whiter, but not blue,
after watching following video and reviews, osram 4K bulbs look reasonable, that would be my first led.
I understand you might need a resistor in parallel to avoid canbus problem because bulb resistance is too low, & it thinks it's blown.

Can you? i didnt know that. Must go check on my x5. At the moment on its setting I have some serious doubts about the speed it thinks it can take 90 degree bends at! I always bottle it and brake
