BMW and M Power Owners

I'd think longer term residuals vs 5 series are also better for that reason

Unlikely.

The 6 Series is a fantastic car and is simply better than the 5 Series, on paper. It has a better standard specification, it rides better, it is more practical. But it is also essentially just a 5 Series so retains the 5 Series ownership costs.

But people do not like the way they look* so do not care about any of this - but this is why they are such good value.

It is the only car I can think of which BMW have removed from sale instead of offering the facelift in the UK market, presumably because nobody was buying them. If you like how they look you can get a great car for the money.

*I can't blame them, I wouldn't buy one myself for this reason. My Dad didn't agree though and has had one for about 4 years now and thinks its a great car.

Gutted, the dealer called to say it had been sold 2 days ago and doesn't come off the website until invoiced :(

The search continues ...............

No surprise, looked like the best one in the country. And now you will compare every inferior one you find to that one :(

the same across 3&5series touring vs saloon - does any initial purchase premium get consolidated in the 3rd/4th ownership market - because of their relative practicality.
e: yes if that practicality is exploited maybe they are mechanically more worn too - like if a car had had a towball

e: OK got rid - I guess you other postings will reveal why

Got my M240i now and as it's 2019 it doesn't have android auto. I bought a CD slot phone mount for my phone but was thinking, is there much functional difference between the Google maps and the built in BMW one? Will it suggest different routes mid journey based on traffic etc? Does it plot much the same routes?

Well first problem with the G31 at 160k miles. Recovered and should be back on the road this evening.
