BMW and M Power Owners

I seem to have a coolant leak on my 440i.
It's only effecting the Aux cooling system (my AC keeps stopping when it's low)

I'm using

Prestone PAFR0038B

To keep it topped up.
Can I use it to refill fully once ove identified the fault and fixed? It seems to be the same colour as BMW coolant.

I don't want to use BMW coolant to keep topping up. As its expensive to just loose out some pipes lol.

Good news

BMW headlight has been replaced under warranty. BMW has said it was abnormally bad, hence why it was replaced and not rejected for a weather seal fault

My local garage and rep has been very very good and helpful to be fair, and has fought for me at every stage.

Couldn’t ask for anymore and I’ll definitely be renewing next year.

I have an F30 330e, which I mostly charge at work so I have no need yet for a permanent home charger, plus the battery is so small it’s hardly worth it. However for the occasional charges at home I’m thinking about getting a granny charger. My question is if I set the car to 6A but the charger is a 13A charger will that cause issues or will I need a variable charger that can be set to 6A to match the car? I’m just worried about running both at 10/13A and causing too much load on the wiring or socket in the garage.

I granny charged my old i3 for years using the 16A charger and never had any issues. The circuit it was connected to was 20A though. Worth checking the wiring diagrams in your house first.
If you're worried, set it to the lowest setting in the car, and then work your way up.

Considering these wheels as replacements for the stock black wheels on my m440i in the spring.

Like the design but unsure if I'm brave enough to go frozen gold or stick with something darker like carbon grey.

A great example of why always AUC over independent garages... This guy presumed he bought a mint example of a e9x 335i for top dollar only to be shafted every which way.

@dlockers one for you 'Mr e46 M3 is not a money pit waiting to happen'

To be fair it's a 2011 car. You're not going to be finding many of those as approved used cars and it isn't surprising when things go wrong with it. It's part of the reason why a 2011 335i is cheaper than a newer one.

Buy a new one, nothing goes wrong, spend a fortune in depreciation. Buy an old one, will lose very little value, but you'll spend time and money keeping it running.

Going through my daily "What car do I fancy today" routine.

Forgot BMW were still doing V12 when I spotted a G12 M760Li and thought what a gorgeous car to waft around in... that I would never have the balls to entertain because of the drivetrain.

Though saying that quick research from owner forums seem to suggest N74 V12 is quite a reliable lump, anyone gave ownership of one of these a go? Interested to know how you got on really.

I see your point and agree on the old.335i. My point is it can happen to any car out of the warranty period.
