BMW and M Power Owners

Pretty crap that seals don't last 6 years these days.
Yup, it’s why I’m never keen on cars with sunroofs. I much prefer to have windows closed and air conditioning on.

Car was a fully loaded spec with decent mileage and only example that was within a decent radius from where I live, so I overlooked the sun roof as it had everything else.

Wow, co-incidence or not, my 440i did the same too...low coolant bong this morning
Bought some HT-12 from ebay for £14 inc delivery just waiting for it to arrive.
Topped up with some RO water in the meantime

I hope topping it up once in nearly 4 years doesn't mean the engine has developed a leak...we shall see... :(

My aux coolant system leak was indeed the middle Radiator.
Was replaced today. Cost £675.
Leak removed.

It's hideous. So is the new 3 series design from what I can see from the renders too.

My next car will not be a BMW I think it's safe to say

maybe they are making things look meh so that when neue klasse/ev hits the shelves with an attractive design language people will jump on it . hopefully with handling restored from 20yrs ago models too.

I'm just not interested when they go for a new design language especially when Audi and Mercedes competing products both still look great. The new Audi S5 looks great, if it's anything like the new 5 series then the new 3 series won't be for me. I'll keep my current one as long as I can, because it's a fantastic car, but if need to replace it before BMW have changed direction then it'll be from one of the other two manufacturers.

Question for anyine with remote climate activation, -3 here for the past few days. Obviously I turn the remote climate on, it isnt actually making much if any of a difference to the frozen windows.

Is this the same for everyone?
Thanks

It’ll take a while to heat up because the car is stationary. Mine’s has a 30 minute limit and it can take until the 15-20 minute mark before the windows start defrosting depending on the temperature.

A shame you can’t activate the heated screens remotely.

Which car do you have?

Unless it's an electric or plug in hybrid then all this option does is switch the ventilation fans on in the car remotely. It won't defrost the car or heat it.
