BMW and M Power Owners

I got the annual 20% off traffic cameras with the connected drive Black Friday offer, tend to find the BMW navigation provides the same routes that google maps etc do and the camera notifications are quite useful (informational purposes only, as always within the speed limit anyway...)

BMW are running their usual 20% Black Friday discount on their Connected Drive items again. Handy if you need a Satnav update or want to add anything on.
Yeah saw that the heated steering wheel is down to £160, still umming and arring over whether to get it for the missus as I wouldn't use it

Something I very much wish the original buyer specified when he bought it, especially on the -6'C mornings I've experienced in the past couple of weeks. I assume you do have the button on the column?

Porsche recently went to a new home. Gutted to see it go, but always felt like too much of a garage queen for me.

I’ve replaced it with something which has an equal number of gears as cylinders, with only 18,000 miles on the clock.

Internet points for a correct guess.

M135 or 235i

Further than @tamzzy :P

I went for a 340i. A touch over half of what I got for the Porsche, with a year BMW warranty and 18,050 miles since new. Well optioned with:

Heated seats + steering wheel
Interior lights pack
M Sport Brakes
Harman Kardon
Split folding seats
Electric memory seats
High beam assist

Having had an F31 already, I was quite shocked at how well put-together it feels. Much better than the 3 series I had.

I’ve ordered 4x Asymmetric 6s for it at a cost of £420, which is a nice change from the £1000+ for a set of PS4S on the Boxster.

I drove it a good distance home and my god is it nice to be back in a manual with 450 Nm of torque at your disposal.

It isn’t as sporty, no. It is otherwise quite numb. But I wanted something which wasn’t a gloss black chavmobile but still sounded decent and reasonably playful.

That wrote off M2s, 140is, 240is and 440is as I see them all too regularly with black alloys and huge mega cringe exhausts.

Just for clarity to avoid offending anyone: I like the look of the M140i/M240i and M2, but don’t like the association with the overly modded ones you see driving like muppets on the road, I.e. the classic BMW driver :)
