120D can do 0-60 in 7.6 seconds?

It's slower than a 3.0 Z3 but it's not slow slow surely.

My g/f has a'54 plate mapped 120d. On paper it is probably only a second to 60 slower than my ep3, but the driving input and output is miles apart, unless I'm doing motorway miles I'd take the ep3 all day everyday.

The 120d is dull.

As has been mentioned get a x23d+ if Mpg is a concern or a x30i+ if it isn't.

Tell you what though, the new Focus is a fantastic car!
We have both - a new Ford Focus Eco Boost and a 1 Series.

The Focus drives okay but it just doesn't look good - it's too long and narrow at the front. Also the interior has far too many buttons scattered everywhere.

Why? If hes using it for track days why not ?

The M5 is an utterly fantastic road car but seems somewhat unsuitable for hard and frequent track use if you ask me.

Its too heavy, will absolutely chew through expensive consumables like tyres and brakes like they're going out of fashion, and is likely to cost a fortune to fix when something inevitably breaks!

The buttons are lol-worthy!

Rented a diesel econetic a few weeks back with nav and the buttons were ridiculous. Trying to adjust something at 1am on a German autobahn in the rain was not fun.
Just had one with the SONY integrated system and it was much cleaner.
The stupid flower petals are amusing, but I need to work on my speed :(

I'm very impressed though. I hated the nderpowered diesel, but given better options and a better engine, it's a very capable car. Be it blasting down country roads or cruising down the autobahn at 120mph. Did 2000 miles in a week without issues.

Poor car :( I feel sorry for it :(

Dont worry fox, ill keep you up to date with every modification, dont want you to miss out.

I think the next thing after final suspension height adjustments and alignment will be 8 pot brakes on the front.

Then i might gut the interior, burn it all on a fire while chanting and fit a pair of bucket seats haha

not sure what your thoughts are on these two vehicles are

I'm looking to buy an E92 320i or 325i M-Sport soon.

With the BMW comprehensive warranty, I seem to remember reading that it's cheaper if the car is below 60k miles, is that still correct, as it doesn't mention this on the BMW warranty website, it only states 100k.

How much would it cost for <60k and >60k?

Its correct yes, Comprehensive warranty with Emergency Service and Zero excess is £904 for over 60k and £540 for under 60k, or something like that.

Don't waste your time with a 320i.

I just have flashbacks to that RX7 thread and the way it went :(

That's not an M5.

its a 540i, but i was more talking about the look.

Never understood what was your real problem with the rx7 to be honest, was it because it wasnt all OEM like your 530i

Or that you were annoyed when it was never finished?

More the whole 'I can build a 200mph RX7' only for it to end in a locked thread with no 200mph RX7 and a with a hugely opposite story from a garage owner at the end

It'll be no surprise, but I missed this too, what went on then with that?

Thanks Fox.

On a 2007 E92, is it a false economy to spend less on a higher mileage example whilst spending slightly more on a comprehensive warranty? Or should my buying strategy be the opposite for a modern day BMW?
