What are the implications of fitting slightly wider tyres i.e. standard is 255 and I fit 265?

I dunno, they fit some of the sportier looking models like your 1 series, but on the standard 3 series/5 series posted above it does screem Barry boy.

All Z4's except the 35i and 35is have black grilles.

Justifying the above, there's no other Chrome trim on the car, it's all "Shadowline" black. The Angel Eye LEDs now match the 4300K Xenon bulbs. They're no brighter than the halogen as I didn't want that.

I don't dislike the Chrome or Halogens just changed for change sake. I can always easily refit the original parts. My grilles are OEM chrome grilles I had a body shop prep and then paint with a specialist paint for such tasks, so at least it's done properly. Black grilles with chrome stone chips do look pretty horrendous.

Black internal grilles. The chrome surround is still there. The 35i and 35is have silver internal grilles. I CBA to find images and save them to photobucket. Google it.

Just had a google see if anyone has successfully put the N54 engine from a 335 into an E46. That would be awesome, done a quick google search and found a few people get half way through the project then just disappear.

Into an E46 M3? Not sure if that's cool or not. The S54 may be old tech, but in terms of "M" it's better than an N54 or N55.
