BMW and M Power Owners

So drove to Leeds in the 6GC today...not to shabby, ride isn't as good as in mine which is probably the 20" wheels, RFT and the standard suspension. Its quiet at cruising speeds and makes a not very diesel like noise when pushing hard, but it also can't hide its weight.

Wow that's stunning fuel economy. Most I have managed in my less powerful 530d is 50. I know you are not a fan but than 6 is just wonderful, I would love one.

I like the car, its just too big for my liking, but the Coupe or Cab in the spec this has with maybe the active suspension would be something I would seriously consider.

Nice economy figures there. In fact, amazing. I would have usually said "must have been boring driving at 60 mph the whole way", but I'm guessing at rush hour, you probably weren't?

I managed 35.1MPG in my M135i going from Cardiff to London today with a mountain bike on the roof.

Admittedly I was doing 70mph on the dot (don't we all?) but I can't help but be impressed by that.

Mate of mine has accidentally (!) won himself an X plate 530i Sport on flea bay, its pretty tidy and clean, I'm quite envious of it tbh!

Its got a few bubbles in the usual places which he intends to sort, along with a complete cooling system refresh - recommended brands to buy from ECP / GSF appreciated - he's been quoted £180+VAT +Labour for the radiator alone, seems a bit steep to me tbh.... We've also found some thingy attatched to a wire hanging from the O/S/F, I'm guessing its perhaps the outside temp sensor perhaps?

Any ideas appreciated.

This seems the best (to me) palace to ask, somebody give 'Fox a nudge please! :D

And WTF is up with the picture quality on my iPhone 5, I don't know! :o

Wonderful looking 318is! And quite a rare colour to I believe. I always liked the 16v engine, more fun than the 320, liked being worked hard, and had a nice balance to it. The 320 felt somewhat lethargic in comparison, smoother, but more of a cruiser.

Great to see it looking so original with the BBS and the front lip spoiler. Are they tech 1 side skirts on it?

Got myself a rare 4.10 limited slip diff (the correct optional extra for the car). Looking forward to getting it on the E30, not that I drive the car in a way that I will notice it limiting slip.. :P

Thanks :) Yeah I cant say I've ever seen another original Lazurblau E30 tbh..
Yeah the 4 pot is very revvy and enthusiastic, and the car does feel very well balanced as you say. It was dubbed "the baby M3" for these reasons I guess.

They are SE side skirts.

SE. I should have known :)

I miss my E30's! Keep hold of it mate, she's lovely looking and would be difficult to replace.

Amazing the size of the E30 compared to the 4 series coupe these days.

Believe me, I won't be parting with this car for the forseeable. I love it!

The E30 could probably be considered a small car now, which is funny considering it's a BMW saloon! xD

Forgot how thirsty diesels can be when thrashed came back from penrith at the weekend to Newcastle and managed 28mpg in my 330d but boy was it fun :)
