I've found another manual M3 convertible with hard top and red leather interior, it has a recent inspection 2 and subframe was checked then. It is still under the 10 year warranty so I have at least 6 months if I do buy it to get BMW to sort it out. I suppose the natural thing to do would be to make ample use of gears 1 and 2 before the warranty on the subframe is up
Going to view it soon and see what's what but by all accounts it does appear to be the perfect M3 for me so far.

I've brought mine away with me this week on business and staying out in the sticks the drives to and from work have been awesome these cars just keep rewarding over and over..
