BMW and M Power Owners

Since everyone says the M-sports suspension are too harsh, do they do a SE with sports seats AND M-sports body kit?

No, the SE does not have the MTech bodykit as an option. It has its own aerodynamic pack instead on the options list.

You could delete the sport suspension but hardly anyone did.

It's quite easy to tell, the outgoing one is the one that has people vomiting in the street when they see it, can't understand why as I think it's the meanest looking one of the two!

So many people call it ugly, I don't understand... it's one of the best looking cars ever. That V10 is also my alarm every morning. :D

Who is "everyone"?

Hasrhness is subjective. I find anything less than M tech suspension too soft. Drive both on the same road >>> Make decision.

I know i need to drive both to decide, i am just taking a wild guess as isn't it the primary reason why people ditch the run flats?

The ride on an E92 with M Sport suspension and RFT's is particularly ****, yes. It would be ok if it was firm in a 'wow, this is so sporty' way rather than a 'wow, this crashes over every pebble on the road' way. But you get used to it.

I chose to remove the M Suspension on my car because the ride was a bit too rough.
I'm also going to put normal tyres on it when the RFT wear out.

I have 19s with normal tyres and the ride is fantastic - I can only describe it as somewhere between the SE and M Sport suspension. I'm pretty sure the components are simply a mix of both.

Guys, today i saw a 3 series coupe that had a double exhaust on each side and a Alpina badge on the left side of the tailgate and a badge saying 3.8 turbo on the right side.

Are these just stuck on crap or is it a actual BMW Alpina?

Never the less, it looked very nice. Was parked up, would have took a picture but the driver was sat there looking like a complete smug ponce as it was lol.

Sure it said 3.8 turbo but i was across the road from it, so i guess you are right. It was very nice and the exhaust note was beautiful.

I need a stereo for an e36 now I want it to look as factory as possible to match the amber displays so choices seem to be an expensive becker unit or pick up a used CD43, currently one for £70ish quid online. Any one got another recommendation, I don't want nothing flashy ie bluetooth ipod not needed and needs to be as plain as possible.

I'm sure when I was looking I found a kenwood unit for sub £150 which had the amber display on it - I did think it would look good in my E36, but it didn't have BT which is the one thing I needed. Not much help I know, but scour the kenwood offerings.

All E46's with projectors (Except facelift Coupe and Cabrio) have Xenons - specifying Xenons was the only way to get projectors, as standard they come with reflector lenses.

To retrofit you'd need two headlight units from a Xenon fitted car.
