BMW and M Power Owners

Anyone in the south east fancy a guaranteed chav-tastic German meet on Saturday evening at Bluewater? Considering going, but I'll need to dust off the badaman dictionary so I can be "down wiv da kidz" when they complement my "sik man ride blud" and insist it "shud b bagged, will look well sik", or at least that's my assumption of the clientele looking at photos from the previous meet.

Would have gone if I had a car :p Will turn up to the next meet once mine is here.

That's where I pretty much always park, is always quiet there :D

What time were you thinking of heading down? Would be nice to have a conversation there with someone capable of forming complete sentences.

No idea yet, I am at Kent uni (Canterbury) all day with work and at the moment I have no idea when I am leaving there or what my mate is up to. Ill update this thread if I ever find out what I am doing.

Made purchase, finally, of my first BMW yesterday

Really happy with it, 530d auto with just over 60,000 miles. Only down side is the walnut trim but will get that sorted asap, we know a company that can wrap it with other stuff so probably go with a dark graphite colour or something

Yes, I love it - I specifically fitted it to my 530i and I was very glad when my 530d had it fitted as a factory option. It really gives the interior a warmer and nicer feeling.

Agree it's nicer than any of the plastic or metal options. Not as nice as dark ash though.
Dark ash and oyster white leather. Phwoar.

I have 'Fineline Anthracite Wood' in my 530d, I really like it. It's very dark.

Nom. Equally nice option. Would go really well with the oyster too.

Cool, there's a chance I'll have to bail but shall update thread with if I'm definitely going.

Not a fan of that wood at all tbh. Anthracite is a completely different colour (more grey black and looks more modern). Though to be fair I think only became an option on the F10 5 series.

See pic in spoiler

Yea i much prefer that, i will get it sorted at some point! It wasnt bad enough to put me off the car a a whole as other than that its spot on, right colour combo etc for me, so just thought about getting it wrapped or replaced if i didnt warm to it :D

Of course, trim can be easily replaced so I wouldn't let that derail a good purchase!

Having first sat in the back of an E60 not that long ago, I was surprised just how spacious it felt back there. Passenger seat looks in fantastic condition there, just why did BMW design the non sport steering wheel so badly?

Update, definitely going to bail now, instead I'll be spending the evening painting my GFs parents house

This place is returning to many E46 M3 ownerships like it once was. Alright angry bee brigade M3 m8s

Edit*
My next car won't be a BMW I don't think. I was so impressed with the new Mustang GT that I just want one of those next. Rear seats are just as usable and comfy as my convertible (coupe rear seats aren't as comfortable in the E46).

That V8 hooked me in :o

I'm so glad to have been able to own one of the best M cars ever made though :p
