BMW and M Power Owners

Google Translate app, live translate = win :p

But clean the rubber with a damp rag first, then run the Gummi along making sure the sponge wets the rubber. Apply again and open/close the windows a few times then apply again.

I did think that, but the Euro Car Parts label covers the instructions and trying to peel them away also takes the label off the bottle :p

Righto - will give that shot, I'd been applying it but it wasn't working for more than 2-3 days. I was half tempted to Vaseline up the vertical part of the seal to stop the annoying squeal!

Odd issue last night with the E93. Before getting out I pressed unlock on the key fob three times to drop the window halfway (a neat feature for a low seat car to aid getting out), it then (usually) goes automatically back up upon closing the door so I walked away and didn't think about it. I came out this morning to find my window open halfway  and after a hard stormy night a nice wet seat  any ideas convertible owners?

My first thought was maybe the auto up stops if locking the car before it's finished but I tried that today and the window continued up to close even after locking. Now I'll have to go outside and check the window each night for a while due to paranoia!

N26 engine. From what I've read very few places can do it properly as nobody seems to have cracked bmw's coding.
I have no idea what this means!

OK, that's one of the new engines used in F30...your question should have been: "Anyone know anything about BMW N26 remapping?" :)

Presumably the car was new? Have you been to ask BMW about it? They'll do the remap (or sub it out, anyway), charge you three prices for it, but importantly your warranty will remain intact.

It's coming up to the end of its warranty. Hence why I'm looking. There isn't an m power pack available for it. There is a stage one kit from ac shnitzer but compared to most places it's incredibly pricey and is a plug in kit, not a true remap

What model you got? F31s have a problem thats fixed under warranty.

I've just been quoted £400 for a simple oil service from my local dealer. Ouch. I think I'm going the independent route (thank god I live close to Munich Legends!).

It's obviously not just a 'simple oil service' if they have quoted that, it likely includes other items ie ripoff micro filters.

Munich Legends pricing seems very high anyway.

Just wondered if anyone had experience of living with a 4 series gran coupe over significant mileage. I went to bmw yesterday to look at some 5 series but was quite taken with the looks of the 4GC, plus the slightly more practical boot however my main concern is comfort for the 25kish miles per year I'll be doing. any opinions?
