BMW and M Power Owners

How crap are e9x se seats? There are a few sensibly priced 330i tourings around in SE with a reasonable level of spec bar the aforementioned seats.

I've only ever driven cars with the sports seats so have no feel for what is really lost other than the side support

I want red leather in my E46 sport saloon. That's uncommon enough on its own, buy mine are heated and manual adjust. I don't think I'll ever find any.

But sport seats are way better than SE seats in whatever BMW you choose. They have the adjustable thigh bolsters, too.

They are not amazing but Ebay is full of Sport seats if you are that bothered.

There's one with heated leather which would potentially make that awkward but in not sure I'd be too fussed - just didnt want to hear "they are shocking". Might go have a look

Definitely expect them to be better but as long as the standard seats are ok i'd orobably be content -tbh the Type R has great seats yet they're pretty wasted on me given all I really do in it is drive it to work every day

They're not the best around, but they're better than average - still comfortable enough.

So I bagged an ac schnitzer exhaust - been on search for one for ages. It's made by remus but with acs tips. Will certainly finish the car off.

Just put a deposit on that M5. What an epic car... the gearbox makes my RS6 feel like it's from the stone age.

Does anyone elses navigation insist on showing elevation in yards? I can find no way to change it and it's fairly annoying, who on earth measures elevation in yards?

Yards and feet are surprisingly closely related

So are miles and yards and my navigation system doesn't tell me I have 56,000 yards until my destination

Nobody tells you that Ben Nevis is 1470 yards high or that Mexico City lies at an elevation of 2460 yards.

Have you anything useful to offer or is your answer simply 'I don't know'?

Incidentally the E46 3 Series correctly uses feet.

Yards for altitude? Does anywhere in the world use yards? It might as well be in decimetres, hands or cubits. Feet and metres are where it's at.

I know there is a Dashcam thread, but.....

If I wanted to hook a dashcam to the F11 fusebox rather than the 12V socket (so I can hide wires away) and then have it come on automatically when starting the car to drive it (and yet stay on when stop/start is working) - what fuses should I connect to?

I basically don't want to use 'Parking Mode' because I park in a busy public car park and the motion sensor would go off constantly and drain the battery all day.
