BMW and M Power Owners

Guys is my 320d being over optimistic or what?

Drove from London to Nottingham tonight and managed to achieve 61MPG reported by the OBD is it a possibility it's been remapped?!

Just work it out - brim the tank, reset the mpg counter, drive a distance, brim the tank, calculate fuel used, compare to mpg counter.

I'd imagine whether it's right or wrong (It sounds very wrong) has nothing to do with whether its been remapped.

Seems odd though normally the OBD is pretty close! Also the fuel needle barely moved on the way home it used less than a quarter tank! 160 miles

West Lothian. Twas ~Imola Red, traded it into a dealer so could've went anywhere I guess. Urban I got 44mpg, high 50s on long runs but never saw 60+

Ah not mine mine is Grey, I'm baffled. Guess I'll have to check it like Fox said.

It just caught me as OBD was normally very accurate. To be honest I was driving like miss daisy in six gear with little traffic!

Fox drives like Miss Daisy I bet :p

Edit*
Actually no, I'm reminded of one motors meet where I see this grey F10 come hurtling past me approaching a roundabout and I'm sat there thinking "who the eff... Oh!" :p :p

Ordered the 330e :D. Extremely excited but slightly apprehensive as it's my first time with PCH or anything financed at all, only so many times I can do the sums though so just gotta go for it.

Late April ETA :(.

I was thinking more of the meet where an E39 had a little meeting with a hedge or something ;) (can't really remember though as was a fair while ago now and the brain a bit more worn since then)

Insurance renewal came through yesterday, they want £1,300 as apposed to the £750 last year and re-running a quote on their site still comes out as £1,000. May be time to leave Admiral...

This usually happens to me with admiral. I normally get the cheapest quote from elephant which I think is part of the same group. Admiral just price match which saves me switching.

Lee, when is your 330Ci in for the steering rack? Did you have it done yet?

Moving on from Admiral isn't a bad shout anyway mate, I've had a couple of problems with them recently.

Having said that they'll normally price match and if you've found their service acceptable, it's probably worth your while sticking with them. They've always been the cheapest for me, too.
