This usually happens to me with admiral. I normally get the cheapest quote from elephant which I think is part of the same group. Admiral just price match which saves me switching.
They sent me a renewal for £1350. I didn't even bother calling them, just went with Aviva for £600. When I called Admiral to finalise my account he had the cheek to say they were sad to see me go without even being given a chance.
I was like WTF, the renewal price was your chance
Lee, when is your 330Ci in for the steering rack? Did you have it done yet?
Booked in tomorrow. Rack arrived today, looks good! I'll let you know how it's feels tomorrow

Thanks!
How many hours is it booked in for? I always thought it was a massive job but looking into it, not so much?
Just tried again now. Wonder if the forum had issues.
Edit Just did my quote online as I got my letter today, £72 for comprehensive with £250 excess or 114 with 0 excess.
Ordered the 330e . Extremely excited but slightly apprehensive as it's my first time with PCH or anything financed at all, only so many times I can do the sums though so just gotta go for it.
Late April ETA .
Did you get this on one of those lease deals doing the rounds recently? I seem to remember it being a pretty good deal. What are you paying if you don't mind me asking?

Seriously though, what do you need from the car? The E60 was never great, even when it was new. A high mileage early one will just be a money pit IMHO.
