Uh? There isn't a 340d - just 330d (single turbo) and 335d (twin turbo).

I meant 330i to 340i. I was thinking of the diesel difference and ended up sticking d. /facepalm

So I had a bit of a worry last week when I was advised that my car had moved to 5055 and was supplied with a VIN. But all the options were incorrect on the car!

Dealer re-assures me that it's 5055 but they musta copied the wrong VIN off the PC.

Today I get an email say they've made yet another mistake and the car is still 1200, with delivery now moved back to W42+

I get the feeling that they only really care about selling the cars (imagine that) and frankly couldn't give a hoot once you've signed on the dotted line... I don't even get phonecalls, I get 1 line, un-apologetic emails from them instead...

There are some good dealers but yours doesn't sound like one of them. I had a terrible experience with Chandlers on my first, Coopers for the second and it was like night and day on service pre delivery.

Can't remember posting in here before, but here is my 2014 M135i with the following mods:

Quaife LSD (Birds)
JB4 with all harnesses & Bluetooth
Scorpion Decat
BMS Intake
ERS Racing Intake Pipe with Meth Bungs
BMS Water Meth Kit with Aquamist 10 Litre tank in boot
Wagner Competition Stage 2 Intercooler
H&R Lowering Springs
BMS 12mm & 15mm spacers
BMS Slash Cut Tailpipes

The next modification is a Pure Turbo Stage 2 kit (pic below) which will allow me to run around 550 bhp. Really looking forward to this one! The videos of other guys running the same kit are just incredible.

Have you got any videos of your particular car? Would be interesting to see how it sounds with your mods.

How did you know the 4 Series was misbadged?

I don't think it was I got it wrong - I thought the 435d has a single exhaust on each side but googling tells me that's the 435i - the D has a double.

The 740d was easy to spot as it was a prefacelift 2010 model.

Yea, only the E90/91/92 335d had a pipe either side. For some reason the 435d is indistinguishable from a 430d.

What does the 740d being pre facelift have to do with it?

Edit: Meant to be a question not rude as it reads :p

Some serious power you have going on

Was thinking of getting JB4 for my one, did you run it without the other mods and if so, what is it like?

That 535i is probably a rarer spot :p

Probably is. Not quite as lovely though. I think this guy bought it on the day they were released if i recall correctly and it is still absolutely pristine.

I spent a fair bit of time in Kensington n Chelsea last year and it's the most F10 535i/d I've ever encountered (still not common). But they were usually in colours like Beige and in SE spec. I'd hazard a guess at the owners being fairly wealthy and not caring about M Sport spec or resale values.

Is there a bigger difference in cost when new compared to the E60 535d and the F10? Because there's plentiful E60 535d's but F10 is still a rare occurrence. It's been about 6 years since release I would have expected more?

I don't think I'm as up to date with BMWs as I thought I was - it was. 2010 model with twin exhausts to the left. I assume that's a 730d. I'll await correction from Fox lol. But every 740d I've ever encountered had looked extra beefy and had single exit exhaust on each side?
