BMW and M Power Owners

F10 people, what are the opinions on Aluminium Hexagon trim vs Fine Brushed? I'm definitely leaning towards the hexagon as it's darker and feels less 'cold' than the brushed. Unfortunately the wood is a no-go.

Brushed is so much nicer than hex.

Wood is so much nicer than either.

Both are nasty and horrible.

Oyster + Piano is probably my favourite combo, but I've found the piano trim scratches easily. Cream mats would be a pain too.

I don't think Oyster goes that well with aluminium.

It doesn't look to be a possibility unfortunately, the main thing I'd want from it are the wheels which could be added at a cost further down the line. I'll see how the 18's go.

Why is it not a possibility?

Oyster/Black is best, the carpets are black. Looks awful with silver trim though.

The final factory order cars have locked specifications, aside from paint and the two standard trims. I've gone for your favourite Carbon Black! Most of the ones I see are white sadly.

Production stops at the end of this month.

Why on earth order a new one then? There are loads of good spec pre reg and nearly new in the network.

Mine had 6k on it and was like new.

Price, these are cheap enough to make living with the spec worthwhile (for me at least).

Piano black is awful, it looks lovely when you've just cleaned it but a drive later and it's covered in finger prints. It scratches far too easily as well and just generally shows up every little mark

Agreed. Although the piano black i had in the f30 still looked great when I sold it

As with everything in life, everyones opinions are going to differ.

I have Oyster and hex trim with black carpets and i love my interior.

Yes, it is a wonderful colour combo.

It is also probably the rarest standard colour. I think I've only ever seen one for sale like it. We are so boring in this country :(
