BMW and M Power Owners

Sorry to be a pain everyone. But for a 2014 640D Coupe. Will an iPhone 7 plus fit in the phone tray? And I'm assuming there is normal USB slots and that I don't need a phone cradle.

Car is irrelevant, BMW phone trays are the same size no matter what the model.

I never use a phone cradle, it sits perfectly in the cup holder connected via blutooth. Failing that there's a USB slot in the central armrest and the phone sits nicely in there too.

Thanks.

Just put my deposit down :)

AFAIK there is no iPhone 7 snap-in adapter available yet.

Yeah, I mis-read :)

You can of course charge through the USB port with a cable, but the snap-in adapter is much neater and the phone is hidden in the central armrest. The fancy ones also have a fan to cool the phone. Was €150+ for the iPhone 5S one :/

Mind you, Audi charged €130 with no fan :(

I used it today to code some (what I think rather useful) things into the F15 - the LED lights under the door handles for example come on when reversing, that's hugely useful at night to see kerbs etc, and now I'm surprised that's not standard.

I would have found that extremely useful! Irrelevant now as the M3 sold yesterday.

No glovebox USB port on NBT fitted cars.

Wasn't that only for sat-nav updates though with the CIC system? I always used the one in the arm rest for music.

I liked your E92 in red! What's next Vox?

Thanks, so did I, am very conscious that if I ever buy another one I'll never get one as good as that one. Replacement has already been purchased, thread incoming when I've got some good pics at some point soon but it's so obvious no one is going to be surprised :p

If you want to use Spotify on an Android phone in a 2010 Z4 what's the best solution? Will it work through bluetooth/iDrive or do you have to revert to the old school aux cable?
