Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

Very, very annoyed that I've discovered one of my mates is using hacked characters, what the hell is the point in that?!

Was playing with him last night for a little while and have a blast then told him I hadn't tried the Gunzerker yet, to which he said "neither have I - brb" and popped on with a level 20 one! Has since admitted it but I really can't see why people do it in BL2, the game is awesome and you still need to play through the content surely??

Grr /disappoint.
 
I hate that and can't see the point at all. Its like Diablo all over again! "Brb getting my Rod of Onan that does +30000 damage!"

Last night I was reading the Wiki to get more info on elemental weapons and found a page mentioning the golden key 'cheat' if you could call it that. Now the sodding temptation to try it is bloomin high :(

You can get a skill for Axton that makes his turret sl@g enemies. might be handy in UVHM, depending on how long his turret lasts. Not actually tried.

Yeh I tried that at an earlier level and it's good, but gnerally I'm not too bothered about many of Axton's 'tier 3' skills. I've gone for a 'jack of all trades' build and it seems to work fairly well.

That's probably the tactic I'll go for. Sl@g as many as I can before swapping weapons. Maxed out on weapon swap and reload speed for this reason.

Yeh it's difficult to know where to draw the line. Me and a mate discovered (certainly not the first I imagine) you can trick the Torgue slot machines into free Torgue tokens, and trick the vending machines. So, a limitless supply of Unkempt Harolds and other legendary Torgue guns/nades. We only did it once, but if we did it every level it would just kill the fun probably. It's fun discovering these things but as you say, it's tempting to abuse it.

Only oranges I've seen in game so far are a pair of level 22 Harolds which I pass between my a characters and a level 4 grenade mod! :D

Love the randomness of loot drops.. think it's like Ultima online etc where it's just luck and I really, really like that.

Yes and that's the great thing about it, you never know what will turn up next. Starting to get some really meaty weapons now at level 31.
 
i got loads of gear from Butstallion, i fed him 100 Eridian, i got 10 purples and a legendary pistol....last time i noticed he was quite good too, but i only fed him about 30 Eridian so i didn't get anything like as much !

i have another 80 Eridian from Warrior for tonight.....Warrior is useless for loot, but he's great for Eridian.

Golden keys open the golden loot chest, located in Sanctuary, always purple loot which levels with you.

Die, respawn, die, respawn....run out of ammo, run out of areana....die, Skag hell....Bloodwing Lvl 61 is ruining my gaming life...I have lost almost 2 mill tonight.....and the night is young.

Anyone available to lend a hand? My steam ID is ademcg.....I am in TVHM by the way :(

I must have had second wind like 12 times...but got there in the end !! YAY


Must point out that my Mecromancer is a little under powered compared to my Commando, gotta love twin , sl@g turrets :);)
 
Need some advice guys.

Myself and a few mates finished BL2's main campaign with me reaching around Lv34 on my zerk. We all have the DLC yet to do. We were clearing out side quests but the XP we're getting from most areas is rather poor. At present I am soloing some side quests but XP is even worse.

I'm tempted to start TVHM to see if the XP gains are better but I am not really sure what to do to progress upwards. Any ideas?

I'd start TVHM and do one or two of the DLC, then do the main story again. I think you only really get significant xp from missions at or above your character's level.
 
Having recently finished the campaign I've got a feeling thats more than enough grinding for them! Not sure if they will play now.

You can do the DLC in TVHM, you just have to complete the opening couple of quests for vanilla first. If you're that desperate for a few levels get a boost - lvl61 stuff gets lots of xp, but in order to progress to UVHM you would need to complete the main quest line in TVHM, but you can run through that.
 
Erm anyone wanna join me for UVHM? Most of the people I play with have kinda dropped off so things have started to get not only lonely but I end up getting raped by a lot of enemies.
