Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

a bit annoyed at the lack of MSAA support

Its getting beyond a joke given that graphics cards are so powerful these days - it should be a standard feature.

The cel shaded effect looks particularly jaggy and the FXAA doesnt cover it up well. :(

After trying this out I'm a bit let down. It feels exactly like the 1st one (which isn't a bad thing necessarily) to me but with more guns. I atleast expected some changes gameplay wise and performance wise. Seems to me they focus on how many different guns they can fit in the game.

I'm enjoying it so far but it is very very similar to BL1, graphics seem a bit improved although textures pop-in much more than I remember, even on the ammo stations. So far I haven't noticed any changes other than being able to adjust your head/body but having a great time :)

Apparently you can get as many gold keys as you want, not tried but from messages on gamefaqs it seems to work

Close BL2, and steam completely.

Go to:

C:\Program File (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\DLC\POPremierClub\Lic

Or wherever you have it installed.

Then open file: WillowDLC

Edit:
[GoldenKeys]
+SourceId=254
+NumKeys=1

[PromotionalUnlocks]
+UnlockId=2

to:

[GoldenKeys]
+SourceId=254
+NumKeys=255

[PromotionalUnlocks]
+UnlockId=2

game's performance is a bit iffy, for me anyway.

gpu usage is all over the place.

the physx effects are really good though. shame i dont have a separate card for it though.

surely physx effects could be done on the CPU ?

i shouldn't be dropping into 40's fps with physx off with a GB 580 SOC @ 960mhz .

GPU usage in parts drops down to 50 odd % ...
