Aye i see the point, hence why i havent done it so far hehe, just bad timing for me as ive got my son all weekend so my playtime will be next to none haha.

Absolutely buzzing for this now!

Anyone thinking about using a vpn ? I used one a few weeks ago for sleeping dogs. Unlocked on 12 on Monday night and played in offline mode till Friday. Not a problem.
 
Im going to save my excitement for the weekend I reckon. Friday night, beers, snacks and Borderlands. Epic.
 
Unlocked it using spotflux, played single player for a bit since couldnt get coop working, utterly fantastic game so far though. Probably going to leave it until friday now / until i can get coop working.

One issue i had with spotflux was that it messed up chrome so that i couldn't browse anything unless i was connected to spotflux :s , took me utterly ages to fix which was annoying now have it uninstalled.

I can also confirm that you can use Spotflux to get it working, albeit single player only. The game re-locks once you turn the VPN off but it's no hassle to simply unlock it again. I also didn't have any problems with regards to Chrome.

Ok so iv been trying to figure out how to enable Physix since I dont have an NVIDIA card. And I managed to find a very simple work around (Off the net)
Here it is.
And it works! AMAZING difference.


C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 2\WillowGame\Config\WillowEngine.ini


Search for:

PhysXLevel

Change

PhysXLevel=0 <- (low)

to either:

PhysXLevel=1 <- (mid)

or

PhysXLevel=2 <- (high)

I created a new thread just for this. Delete my other tread if you deem necessary. I just wanted it to be easy to find.

Coop doesnt work i dont think unless you run it through the vpn.

*edit thinking about it you could maybe vpn + hamatchi start a lan game then close vpn, would that work?

Has anyone whos unlocked early got coop working?

Trying to contact getgamesgo customer support and all I get is

"There was a problem sending this form. Please try again now or in few minutes time."

I've tried umpteen bloody times :mad:

You can change that in the graphic settings, you don't need to do it in the .ini file
