Pre-ordered this with OCUK when I bought my 7970 Lightning, doesn't appear to have been shipped yet. Well, I haven't had an email saying so anyway.
i have it on low with everything else maxed out and its runs perfectly smooth
low is the equivalent 2 disabled

Apologies if this has been asked before, but if I preordered Bordlerlands 2 on a popular digital delivery service (not sure if we can say the name or not) and then VPN'd into a US server so that I'd get a US IP address (using private internet access), would I be able to play it today?
I remember something like this worked for Battlefield 3, but that was a different and somewhat less popular digital delivery service and I'm pretty sure that was using a proxy rather than a VPN.

this is flipping stupid, I've got the game pre-loaded in Steam but if I use VPN to play the game I'll get banned? 
No wonder people pirate games, I can download it now and wouldn't have to worry about having my Steam account banned.

It's to get a very rare weapon at any time in the game, most people will be saving it for when you get to a high rank.

Oh give it a rest. Yes its a tragedy that the game is released in America and we get it 3 days later. These release dates are not top secret information, nor are they unique to Borderlands 2.
The Golden key is a key to a crate in Sanctuary. There is one crate and 1 key. You can only open it once and you get a purple weapon which is specific to your level so best open it when you are a higher level rather than lower. You can only use the key once, however there is an ini tweak you can use to get more keys (google it) and Gearbox have said they know this and will fix it at some point.
One thing though is if people are abusing the Gold Key hack then if you play coop they could have multiple purple items which could unbalance the gameplay.
