PhysX is nothing compared to the lighting improvements they've introduced. Nothing. THEY JUST NEED DECENT TEXTURE RESOLUTIONS NOW ARGH. Seriously, the cel shaded style makes low resolution textures even uglier than normal. It's like the biggest launched game this year besides GW2, if Sleeping Dog's can have HRT support so can this.
Well first of all I think you need to calm down, reloading a gun is no reason to shout and swear, there is no reason to shout and swear at all in this game, it's very comical and laid back. Secondly I'm playing zero for his sniper class and can tell you now he is no slower than anyone else, the comment you made about his reload skill being slower at base and leveled up to the same as the other classes was kinda mind boggling. Thirdly check your weapon stats, I have a class mod that adds +20% reload speed, bad ass ranks invested in enough reload speed to add +5%, skills contributing +30% and I reload my 2.8 second sniper almost instantly.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you've never ever played ArmA II or Battlefield 3. No way could you come from those games and think the reloading in this is slow.
EDIT: Actually my sniper is 4.8 second reloading and it's fast as hell.

Sorry, 'I killed Skyscraper a lot to reach lvl69 and then went and killed Crawmerax'? Crawmerax is a seriously badass boss and the level of skill you have exhibited so far in this thread through your frankly ludicrous complaints (and the comments that you'll just go and cheat) give rise to serious questions as to how someone like you managed to 'just go and beat him'.
Zer0 is more than capable of laying waste to enemies early game with sniper rifle headshots and melee can deal a sufficient amount of damage to kill things but by the sounds of your posts you're trying to take on powerful Badass enemies with it and nothing more!
Is this pretty similar to Boarderlands one or much better ? im not sure if i want to get it yet as i completed the first one 2 runs through to hit top level, but didn't think much of it grinding for rare guns through out the levelling up period to only bin them 2 levels later when there no good any more =/
The problem is most people were like "Omg I'm gonna be da snoipah" before the game released because they used sniper rifles in other games to some degree, forgetting that most enemies in BL2 are faster and have more unpredictable movements, and their sniping ability really isn't up to scratch to snipe in a game where the enemies are faster and take a better aim to effectively headshot. Of course this gives Zero more of a view of being weak as you really do need to get those headshots in to be effective with him, he's really not for everyone.
High skill ceiling character, all snipers in games which rely on headshots on fast moving enemies are, really. Mal would be better to re-roll a character which needs less aim, probably Gunzerker or Commando. Certainly an issue which lies between the keyboard and the chair.

Anyone know a way to prevent the 'texture fade-in' you get when opening containers?
I don't think it's a spec issue, it seems more of a design choice, I just hate it.

Havent you seen the effects where like say the mountains are blocking the sunlight, light acually pours around the mountain, and stuff like that? It's beautiful.
I'd say both. Not sure what you're expecting though as this is a loot game marketed as having bazillions of guns and loot... you are supposed to be upgrading often.

No game I've seen does it, or maybe they do, but I've never noticed it. It's usually sunglare or no sunglare, and never seems to pour around the mountain.
Aye that is true. Especially with bullet travel time varying and enemies heads not necessarily being there weak spot. He's certainly no different to Mordecai though as far as sniping goes. The bloodwing was a crazy powerful bird of death if you boosted it but Deception still relies on you which is the only major difference.
As for Badass Rank. I'm currently at 3301.

Anyone else finding it impossible to get the 3 x vault symbols or 3 x uridium (sp?) bars on the fruit machines at Moxxies bar?
I have spent loads and it just seems to land on the same symbols every time. Often getting 3 x bandits 4 times in a row. Seems like my game is bugged as I have read online that some people are winning the jackpot a few times within an hour or so game time.

I've had 3 bars a few times and even 3 of the double euridium bars in a row!
This is very true, so far Zer0 seem's to be extremely powerful in my eyes, and hes a very good overall character too, can take lots of damage, escape well and deal incredible damage.
I do have to resort to quickscoping psychopaths though in order to land the crit but meh.
I've had a triple Eridium bars once but thats been my only jackpot. Tbh, so long as it kicks out Eridium now and then I'm happy.
