I can't say for sure yet as it started raining just as I went to pick it up and took the pic above and it was raining on and off all day, plus I've been driving the car so it's dirty now. Initial impression is very good. Marks out of 10? I'd say 8/10 as there is some orange peel I can notice up close on some lower panel areas. But nothing that's worse than what I've seen on brand new dealership cars anyway. It doesn't help that it's carbon black either.
The whole car definitely has better paint than what it was before the accident though. I'll get proper photos up once the weather is nicer and I've given it a good wash, although I've been advised holding off washing it for a week or two at least.
Now there are no more stone chips, no dings, no rust (it had none anyway) and it has the same paint thickness all over.
Bodyshop said if there is anything I'm not happy about then to let them know and they will sort it. So far everything seems great.
Also, the one thing I do need to do is replace the frameless window seal that's fixed onto the rear side windows. Over the year I've noticed a bit more wind noise as the seal has weakened. Not major, but just enough for me to notice. I'm guessing I will need to have the whole glass replaced since the seal is glued onto the glass. It's not a soft seal like everywhere else and Gummy has not helped make it much better.
